Diddy's 'Swagger' a Result of Conquering Childhood Bed Wetting
His words, not ours. Diddy and Mark Wahlberg appeared on "Ellen" this week to promote their new brand of water, AQUAhydrate. During the conversation, E reports the Bad Boy Records mogul admitted that he used to have trouble dealing with his … um … hydration. "I grew up as a Kool-Aid kid," said Diddy, whose appreciation of good old drinking water came later in life. "I used to pour a half a pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid. Besides it having me bouncing off the walls, I used to be a bed wetter." He continued: "So I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed, and the first day that I had a sleepover and I didn't wet the bed, it was, like, one of the greatest days of my life. It gave me the swagger that I have today because I stopped wetting the bed."
From there, he launched into an impromptu PSA about how consuming too much sugar has been tied to bed wetting, and so kids should drink water -- more specifically, DIddy and Marky Mark's water -- so as not to humiliate themselves at sleepovers.
