When Hayden Panettiere's fiancé, Wladimir Klitschko, got down on one knee, it didn't happen in a rented baseball stadium or accompanied by a full orchestra, a la Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Instead, it was a much simpler affair. "[The proposal was] very sweet and simple and genuine," she tells Brides magazine (via People). "It wasn't about being overwhelmed by fireworks or a mariachi band. I think it's amazing when people do that, but I like that mine was simple and from the heart."
And although she has a lot of practice walking the red carpet, Hayden envisions walking down the aisle as being a completely different experience. "When eyes have been on me in the past, it's been because of an event, where people see me as a persona, as Hayden Panettiere the actress," she says. "For the aisle, you're the purest, most emotionally stripped down version of yourself, sharing this raw moment with the most important people in your life. It seems very overwhelming!"
