"When the pimp's in the crib, ma drop it like it's hot …" When Snoop rhymed those words a decade ago, it seems he knew of which he spoke. "I put an organization together," Snoop tells Rolling Stone. "I did a Playboy tour, and I had a bus follow me with ten bitches on it. I could fire a bitch, f--- a bitch, get a new ho: It was my program. City to city, [insert word for female anatomy that rhymes with city] to [that same word again, ahem], hotel room to hotel room, athlete to athlete, entertainer to entertainer."
Ah, but Snoop was a pimp with a heart of gold (cough). He says he only pretended to take the cash earned by his ladies for their hard work. "It was never about the money; it was about the fascination of being a pimp," he explains. "As a kid I dreamed of being a pimp, I dreamed of having cars and clothes and bitches to match. I said, 'F--- it - I'm [gonna] do it.'"
