Kanye West and his manager were arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of vandalism and battery in September. According to an eyewitness, the paparazzi got too close to Kanye, an argument ensued, some $10,000 worth of camera equipment was destroyed in a scuffle and police were called. West was also arrested on suspicion of assault against a paparazzo in a similar situation in England the following month. In November, a court commissioner dismissed the criminal charges against West and his road manager. No word on the status of the U.K.-based dust-up, though West had allegedly offered a written apology and then rescinded the offer, possibly after discussing future litigation with lawyers.
