It's an exciting time for Rachel Zoe! The fashion designer, celebrity stylist and former reality star is having a "major" moment, having just opened her very first retail space at popular Los Angeles mall The Grove on Feb. 23. She also recently launched her second collaboration with A Pea in the Pod, The Rachel Zoe Collection!

Wonderwall.com caught up with the busy style star and mother of two to talk all things fashion, including her best advice for what to wear when you're pregnant.

"I would say dark colors, drapey silhouettes, fabrics that have a lot of movement and give," Rachel explains, describing the best pieces to incorporate into an expectant mom's wardrobe. "Jerseys, things like that. Knits that can stretch and move."

The stylish mom to 4-year-old Skyler and 2-year-old Kaius has become an expert in the maternity fashion space: She launched her first line with A Pea in the Pod back in March 2015, and her second collaboration with the retailer debuted on Feb. 15, 2016. The collection -- which features hints of Rachel's signature bohemian style, off-the-shoulder frocks, peasant tops and maxi dresses -- came about after the star wanted to help pregnant women feel fashionable.

"It's a collaboration I've done with A Pea in the Pod for a couple of seasons," Rachel explains. "I just wanted to sort of dabble in trying to dress women through all the stages of pre, during, post, where women still need to feel really good about themselves, but don't have in their closets what it takes."

Rachel has two stylish sons with husband Rodger Berman. She says Skyler is developing his own sense of style already, but with one caveat: "I would say his biggest opinion, the thing he cares most about, is that he's comfortable. If I put something on him that's remotely itchy, it comes off within one second, literally."

Rachel's next foray in fashion just might be one Skyler approves of -- children's clothes! The designer was mum about the possibility of the venture, but sounds optimistic. "We'll have to just wait and see," she teases. "Maybe!"

While fans eagerly await the opportunity to deck out their little ones in head-to-toe Zoe, they can check out her pop-up shop at The Grove in Los Angeles.
