"We have been friends and gotten along for quite some time now -- it's much better," said the former Bond girl, holding Eloise in her arms and pausing only to make sure her daughter Lola was OK. "When you go through a divorce, one can feel one way and one can feel the other way and there are a lot of feelings and emotions there. But at the end of the day, our daughters benefit by us getting along. Myself too; I don't want to have an unhealthy relationship with him or something toxic with a lot of animosity -- life is too short for that."
Speaking of short, it would seem that Richards is running low on time, juggling her parental obligations and a career that currently includes a role ABC Family's upcoming series "Twisted." So how does she make it work?
"When you become a parent, you just figure it out because you don't have a choice. You have these children depending on you. You prioritize and you might not be able to go to everything that you personally want to go to," Richards admitted. "I may have a day of meetings and have to cancel them all because you have a kid that woke up with a fever. You figure it out."
But don't go thinking that she's the master of multi-tasking -- just yet.
"I definitely don't feel like I'm superwoman," she laughed.
