Earlier this month, a source hinted to Us Weekly that Courteney Cox might tie the knot with live-in rocker boyfriend Johnny McDaid "sooner than later." Now speculation has begun that the couple of six or so months has already taken a big step toward the altar.
The actress, 49, raised eyebrows this week when she was spotted at LAX sporting a sizable gold ring on her all-important finger (photo at left).
She seemed to be wearing a similar bauble at an appointment in Los Angeles on April 11, although her digit remained bare Monday during an appearance on "The Late Show With David Letterman" in New York.
Courteney also looked to be diamond-free on Wednesday night as she cozied up to McDaid, 37, at a Vanity Fair bash for the Tribeca Film Festival, where she's showing her big-screen directorial debut, "Just Before I Go." The movie opens with her 9-year-old daughter Coco singing a song written by McDaid.
Cox went public with the Irish musician in December after being introduced by mutual pal Ed Sheeran.
"I'm not sure that it's public knowledge, so maybe I shouldn't have said anything -- but, yes, they're already living together," Sheeran revealed in late March. "Things are moving fast. He moved in and, judging by the last time I saw them, they couldn't be happier."
McDaid has even received an enthusiastic thumbs-up from Cox's ex-husband, David Arquette, with whom she shares custody of Coco and remains on extremely amicable terms (he also has a role in her movie).
"We're really close friends, and we are the 'modern family,'" Courteney explained to Letterman. "My boyfriend and David are friends. I'm friends with his girlfriend, who's pregnant. She's going to have a baby in June. It is strange, but we're not doing it just for Coco. We actually really like each other."
