Now that Kim Kardashian is engaged to "genius" musician and Michelangelo-level aesthete Kanye West, she might want to rethink some of her moneymaking schemes. Case in point: her decision to attend a Viennese ball on Thursday night as the paid guest of Austrian billionaire Richard Lugner.
According to Radar Online, Kim received an estimated $500,000 for her troubles, which were not inconsiderable. TMZ reports she "stormed out" of the gala after an Austrian comedian approached her wearing blackface and pretended to be Kanye. He later apologized.
What's more, Kardashian told her camp that Lugner, 81, was "aggressive, at times grabbing her and imploring her to lose her security." He apparently wanted to be alone with her.
Kim also faced down a guest who told her (on camera), "Yes, we're going to dance … we'll wait for ‘N----s in Vienna,'" a reference to Yeezy's song with Jay-Z, "N----s in Paris."
"It was awful," a Kardashian source tells People of the evening.
Kim had problems right from the start. Seems Lugner didn't appreciate that the reality starlet, who arrived in Vienna with daughter North West and mom Kris Jenner, filmed scenes for "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" at a local schnitzel joint.
“Kim is annoying me, because she's not sticking to the program," Lugner is quoted as telling reporters. "The guest should be with me and not anywhere else that is not agreed upon."
Which raises the question: Is she really a guest if she's not allowed to go anywhere "not agreed upon"?
Lugner, who claims he gussied up before the big event with "15 shots of Botox" ("What's good for [Kim] is good for me, too," he allegedly said), has long invited celebrities to accompany him to the annual ball, starting in 1991 with Gina Lollobrigida.
More recent dates have included Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra, Pam Anderson, Dita Von Teese and Supporting Actress Oscar curse example Mira Sorvino. Lindsay Lohan was tapped in 2010, but she failed to show after missing her flight.
