Cheers to Katie! Katie Couric married financier John Molner in East Hampton, New York on Saturday, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
"So excited to make my debut as Mrs. John Molner!" Couric tweeted shortly after saying "I do."
The couple were feted by close family and friends for an intimate ceremony, which was held at their home. The blushing bride wore an ivory crystal beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace halter gown designed by Carmen Marc Valvo.
Couric's daughter's Ellie, 22, and Carrie, 17, were in attendance as well as Molner's children Allie and Henry. The groom's nieces and nephews were ring bearers and flower girls for the special occasion.
The reception decor complimented Couric's garden perfectly with centerpieces that included garden roses, peonies, dahlias, and hydrangeas, among others. Hank Lane provided the music and guests satisfied their sweet tooth as they noshed on strawberry lemon cake for dessert, which was catered by Topping Rose House of Bridgehampton, NY.
The veteran television journalist, 57, got engaged to financier Molner, 51, in September 2013 after nearly two years of dating, and shared a glimpse of her new engagement ring for the first time while attending the US Open in New York. In January, Couric revealed her summer wedding plans while celebrating Howard Stern's 60th birthday party in NYC.
"It will just be a small dinner in New York," the Today show alum told The Hollywood Reporter of her nuptials at the Sundance Film Festival that same month. Adding of her beau: "He's the wedding planner!
