Armie Hammer breaks his hand in drunken escapade in Russia
Vodka is a powerful drug, a lesson "The Lone Ranger" actor Armie Hammer learned the hard way during a recent visit to Moscow to promote his new film. "All I know is I woke up the next morning in our hotel room and the room was covered with blood," he recalls in an interview posted by WENN. "And I was just like, 'What did I do?' I couldn't find my wife and I was like, 'Elizabeth, Elizabeth! What's going on?!' I find my wife in the other room, just glaring at me and I go, 'What happened?' and she goes, 'You don't know what happened? You should know what happened'… I look down at my hand and it looked like someone had cut a baseball in half and put it under my hand and it was just dried blood all over. Turns out, I was having such a good time that I decided to run down the hallways of our hotel screaming about how much fun Moscow is and then bam! Smacked my hand on a big steel column and broke my hand."
After a trip to the hospital, though, Hammer was back in good spirits about his visit, calling the Russian city "one of the most fun places… it's the best."
