Celebs Remember the Victims of the Sept. 11 Attacks
Facebook and Twitter seemed almost as somber as Ground Zero on Tuesday, as the world memorialized those killed in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Stars joined in the memorializing effort, too: Kate Bosworth and her fiance visited the former site of the World Trade Center in New York; tweeting, "never forget," Kim Kardashian shared a hand-held photo of the towers against the backdrop they once occupied in lower Manhattan; and Paris Hilton showed her sensitive side with the tweet, "remembering the victims & heroes of 9/11. sending love & prayers to their loved ones." Other tributes were more self-referencing, like Rihanna's Twitter command to "RIH-flect." (Get it?) The "Today" show took a different tact entirely, passing over the 8:46 a.m. moment of silence that most networks honored, to air an interview with Kris Kardashian about another national priority-- her breast implants. Tom-ay-to, tom-ah-to. (DailyMail)
