The royal family is marking Princess Anne's 75th birthday — which is on Friday, August 15 — a bit early this year.The family most likely decided to honor Anne early due to her big day also being on the 80th anniversary of VJ Day, which is when the Allied forces declared a victory over Japan and ultimately ended World War II.

The royal family only had kind things to say about Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's only daughter, who is often praised for her unwavering commitment to the crown."As we celebrate The Princess Royal turning 75 this week, swipe to find out more about the life and work of Her Royal Highness," the Instagram caption read alongside some fun facts about Princess Anne.
"Known for having one of the busiest working schedules of any member of the Royal Family, The Princess has established significant and ongoing relationships with numerous charities and organizations across the Commonwealth," one of the photo slides states while showing a picture of the Princess Royal in uniform.

Princess Anne is considered the "hardest-working" member of the royal family due to her participation in the most official engagements over the past four years.According to The Court Circular records, Anne attends hundreds of events annually on the crown's behalf.

On Instagram, fans of Princess Anne shared their appreciation for her."Love our Princess Anne," one commenter wrote.
"Happy Birthday to a marvelous woman. My favorite memory of the Princess Royal when she and the Queen was visiting a home next door in Edinburgh," another recalled while sharing her own run-in with the royal family. "I was sitting on the stoop and recognized her profile and then watched the vehicle stop just ahead of me. I had never seen a woman literally glide out of the car like she was floating. So graceful. I've tried to emulate that move but fail every time."
