During the early stages of
Prince William and Kate Middleton's marriage, the couple lived in an apartment at Kensington Palace known as Apartment 1A. The London-based property has 22 rooms and was their primary residence from 2013 to 2022.

Prince William and Kate Middleton a lavish country home as a wedding gift. Following their 2011 nuptials, the late monarch gave them the keys to the 10-bedroom country home, which is just 110 miles north of London at the royal family's Sandringham Estate. Adelaide Cottage
After first starting a family in London,
Prince William and Kate Middleton moved from Kensington Palace to the Princess of Wales' home county, Berkshire. They settled into the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage at Windsor Great Park, which is closer to the princess' parents,
Carole Middleton and
Michael Middleton.
Forest Lodge
The Sun reported that
Prince William and Kate Middleton are moving from Adelaide Cottage to Forest Lodge to get a fresh start following the princess' cancer battle. Forest Lodge is located at Windsor Great Park, features eight bedrooms and underwent $2 million in renovations in 2001.
