According to royal biographer
Tina Brown, King Charles III has a significant reason for not taking further action against Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. "Charles, I am told, is not looking to punish his pampered brother to the point, he says, that he can't 'cope,'" she wrote in her Substack
Newsletter. "If Charles were not to pay his brother's bills and ensure a certain level of comfort, Andrew would have only his secrets to sell."

King Charles III is reportedly aware that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor could take desperate measures to make money after only knowing a life of luxury. "[Charles] is more aware than anyone that Andrew has been served all his life by a cook, a butler and a valet who used to accompany him on foreign trade trips, lugging a six-foot-long ironing board through the lobby of five-star hotels," Tina Brown said.

Despite concerns, a source claimed Andrew Mountbatten Windsor does not plan to air out the royal family's dirty laundry. "Andrew won't write a book like
Spare," the source
told The Sun, referencing
Prince Harry's bombshell tell-all, adding that the former Duke of York "has promised King Charles III" he won't sell their secrets.

While Andrew Mountbatten Windsor might not spill the royal tea, Sarah Ferguson, who also lost her titles and was evicted from her home over Jeffrey Epstein, could be ready to talk if King Charles III inflicts any further
punishment on her. "The King is a kind man, but his patience has been pushed to the limit," a second source claimed. "However, the last thing he also wants is another
Spare."

Following a round of new allegations about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, King Charles III officially took away his sibling's royal titles. The former Duke of York also lost his Knight of the Order of the Garter and Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order honors. Queen Elizabeth II removed his military and charity patronages in 2022.
