'Let's do better'
Travis Barker's ex, Shanna Moakler, has made her feelings about Travis' marriage to Kourtney Kardashian quite clear in recent weeks — to quote Shanna, she's "not a fan." In the past few days alone, Shanna's slammed Kravis' "really weird" relationship on the "Miss Understood" podcast and called out Kourtney on social media for posting photos of the kids Shanna shares with Travis. Now, Kourtney appears to be responding — albeit without naming the source of her musings on "hate and negativity." Sharing a Bible verse titled "Giving to the needy" (per Cosmo) on her Instagram Stories this week, Kourtney wrote: "So much criticism and hate and negativity lately. Let's do better if not for the world, for yourself, for your children, for your friends and family. I promise the negativity and hate will not make you feel happier. I know the positive far outweighs the negative but it's still hard not to be aware of it and it feels like every little action is criticized. Imagine the good we could do with that energy. Thoughts for the day."

Helen Mirren gets flirty while dishing on Harrison Ford bedroom scene
Helen Mirren still gets star-struck — and then some — when it comes to her "1923" co-star, Harrison Ford. Helen, 77, first worked with Harrison, 80, on 1986's "The Mosquito Coast." But the pair's history apparently hasn't tamped down Helen's ability appreciate Harrison's Hollywood heartthrob qualities. During an appearance at The Wrap's 2023 Awards Season Screening Series on Thursday (April 20), Helen, who plays Cara Dutton opposite Harrison's Jacob Dutton on "1923," recalled feeling her heart flutter a bit when the two shot a scene whee they were in bed together. "I had to be in the bed with him, you know. I'm dressed up to here, but I'm lying there and I'm thinking, 'I'm in bed with Harrison Ford.' I was so excited, I can't tell you. I had to pretend to be cool," she joked, adding, "Don't tell him. Promise me." She went on to marvel at Harrison's humility in spite of his massive success. "The stature he's held, as a major, humongous movie star, all that time, at the same time as somebody who doesn't love the limelight. He has this interior quality to him," she said. "He's come to a place where he can be easy with other actors. It's immensely generous and incredibly professional. Not remotely spoiled movie star, at all." Helen added, "I genuinely love him," before joking, "If I wasn't married …"

Martin Lawrence, Tracy Morgan support Jamie Foxx amid hospitalization
As Jamie Foxx continues recovering from a medical condition that sent him to the hospital on April 11, the actor's health remains top of mind for friends and colleagues like Martin Lawrence and Tracy Morgan. "I hear he's doing better," Martin told Extra at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles on Thursday (April 20). "My prayers go out for him every night and just wishing the best for him — one of the best that we got in Hollywood. Not only one of the best entertainers but a good person."
Tracy echoed those sentiments at Martin's ceremony, telling ET: "I love Jamie. Jamie's a good friend of mine … He's strong, he's a fighter, he's gonna come out of it and he's good." The "30 Rock" alum also alluded to his own near-death experience — a 2014 car accident that killed his friend James McNair and left him with multiple broken bones and a traumatic brain injury. "He's gonna be stronger and better than ever," Tracy said. "I've been there. I was on the other side in a coma for 10 days, so I know … I just want Jamie to please get strong. Jamie, I love you. My prayers go out to you and your family."
Jamie, 55, was reportedly filming "Back in Action" with Cameron Diaz in Georgia when he suffered what his daughter Corrine Foxx later described on Instagram as "a medical complication." At the time, she said thanks to "quick action and great care," he was "already on his way to recovery." The Oscar-winner reportedly remains hospitalized, and photos from the set of his Netflix movie indicate Cameron and co-star Glenn Close are filming with stunt double and a photo double for Jamie until he's able to return to the set.

Hollywood reacts to Twitter CEO Elon Musk's blue checkmark purge
On Thursday (April 20), Twitter nixed a slew of "legacy verified checkmarks" — blue checkmarks confirming the identity of users who have declined to start paying twitter CEO Elon Musk's $8-a-month verification fee. The checkmark blitz hit Hollywood particularly hard, with the likes of Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Harry Styles and more celebs seeing their checkmarks disappear. As of Friday, though, the change mostly seemed to be serving as joke fodder. Chrissy Teigen retweeted a post about swapping a blue checkmark for the "Darth" — as in Vader — "seal of approval," calling it "the only thing that matters." Halle Berry shared a gif of herself shrugging. Singer Ciara skipped the visual shrug, but also responded dismissively, writing, "Blue check or no check… I know my fans still checkin," while Jeremy Renner assured fans that checkmark or no, he's "still here … #bionic."
Stephen King seemingly outed Elon for covering the $8 fee himself for some users, when he tweeted questions about his checkmark remaining intact despite his refusal to fork over money or share his phone number with the platform. "You're welcome namaste," Elon replied. Other stars were more critical after their checkmarks were stripped. "So by revoking my blue check mark because I wouldn't pay some arbitrary fee, someone can just be me and say a bunch of b*******," Alyssa Milano posted. "Does that mean Twitter and @elonmusk are liable for defamation or identity theft or fraud?" Her Twitter bio now opens with the words: "NOT PAYING FOR A BLUE CHECK MARK!"
Is 'Yellowstone' creator Taylor Sheridan's alleged 'God complex' behind his rumored tensions with cast?
A new report claims "Yellowstone" creator Taylor Sheridan's ego is at the root of his rumored rift with the show's star, Kevin Costner, who's also an executive producer on the popular Western series. "Certain people in charge of the production developed a God complex," the Daily Mail reported on Friday (April 21), citing a production source with inside knowledge of the show. "Kevin will forever be proud of and grateful for 'Yellowstone' and the cast is like family to him," the source said. "He just felt like 'Yellowstone' is headed in a direction that was not in line with their initial vision and he was met with criticism, including that he should just stick to acting." On Monday, the New York Post reported "Yellowstone" will not return after the upcoming end of Season 5. "Only Taylor truly knows what is going on," a source told The Post earlier this week. "Taylor spent years not being truly appreciated in Hollywood, and now that he's the top of the heap, there's definitely some ego to all of this."
Drake Bell says he found out his wife filed for divorce 'from TMZ'
Former child star Drake Bell, who recently resurfaced after being declared "missing and endangered" last week, claims he learned of his wife's divorce filing from the internet. "I found out my wife filed for divorce from TMZ…," the Nickelodeon alum tweeted in the early hours of Friday (April 21). He then tacked on a plug for his new recording, "Gone," writing, "check out my new song," and sharing a video link. The actor and singer's wife of four years, Janet Von Schmeling, reportedly filed for divorce on Thursday, according to People. The outlet reports Janet cited "irreconcilable differences" in her filing, which also states she wants legal and physical custody of the pair's 1-year-old son and spousal support. Drake was reported missing by police in Daytona, Florida, on April 13, a few days after he visited SeaWorld with his son. Authorities later updated their Facebook alert about Drake to say he'd been located and they were in touch with him. Transcripts from a 911 call viewed by ET indicate Drake and Janet had an argument and he'd threatened to end his life in a hotel. He's since posted about his apparent struggles, tweeting earlier this week, "It truly blows my mind how mean people are on here to people clearly dealing with mental health issues. It's unreal how cruel you all can be."
Al Roker shares new wellness routine after health scare
It's been a challenging few months for Al Roker, who spent much of late 2022 in the hospital following a scare that involved blood clots in his leg and lungs. But in 2023 — the "Today" weatherman's 45th year on NBC — Al is making big strides towards a healthier life. He opened up about his new wellness routine to ET in an interview published Friday (April 21). "One of the things I learned over the last several months is the power of positive thinking and the power of prayer," said Al, 68. "The number of prayers that came my way and my family's way, for [wife] Deborah and my kids, I know made a tremendous difference. And once you have a bit of a health scare, you really realize you can't take it for granted. So, I try and eat a little better [and] exercise a little more." He's also become more focused on getting enough sleep. "Your body repairs itself, your mind repairs itself when you sleep, Al explained. "You cannot catch up on sleep and that has been my biggest goal, I think, in the beginning of the new year, is to try to get a minimum of six to seven hours of sleep a day." Asked about his 45-year anniversary, Al said he's "more passionate" than ever about his job. And unlike his dad, a bus driver who he said retired at 55 when work "was no longer fun," Al relishes the chance to "get up every day" and spend time with the show's co-anchors. "Willard Scott told me you don't get off the train until you're pushed off," he quipped.
