After Meghan Markle's As Ever company reportedly sold thousands of jars of
jam — and threw in an extra for people spending over $70 — during their holiday sale, customers gave her a cheeky name. "Call her 'Lady Marmalade' for a very nice freebie. My husband and kids liked it so much. I'll be happy to buy it next time,"
Jess McCubbin remarked via
Daily Express. "Thanks, Lady Marmalade! Got ours with a gift box of three of Meghan's spreads. All surprisingly delicious,"
Mandy Etsy said.

The seasonal promotion also included free shipping on the $12 spread during the limited-time offer. "After a so-so launch and small but steady sales through 2025, As Ever has really enjoyed a boom over the holidays," a source told the
publication. "Profits are up enormously and there are major plans to expand over the next 12 months."

Meghan Markle's accomplishment comes after brand and culture expert
Nick Ede expressed his hope for her in 2026. "The biggest win for Meghan would be to let her work speak louder than her story. When she's at her strongest, she's impactful and influential — which is the lane she should stay in," he told
Daily Express.

"For maximum success, she [Meghan Markle] should focus on two things: consistency and credibility. That means choosing one or two core areas to concentrate on. Whether that's philanthropy, female entrepreneurship, or just being a celebrity with a brand, she just needs to commit to it long-term, without constantly reframing her narrative," Nick Ede said.

Meghan Markle experienced numerous hurdles with As Ever since it's April 2025 launch. "I was figuring it out in real time," she said in an interview with
People. "I appreciate everyone who gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out and also to be forgiving with myself through that. It's a learning curve."
