"I loved my new sister-in-law, I felt she was more sister than in-law, the sister I'd never had and always wanted, and I was pleased that she'd forever be standing by Willy's side," Prince Harry wrote in Spare.

"She was a good match for my older brother," Prince Harry shared. "They made each other visibly happy, and therefore I was happy too."
During his time as a royal, Prince Harry often attended official gatherings with Kate Middleton and
Prince William. However, the famous redhead and the pair have yet to reconcile after he painted them in a bad light in his controversial memoir and Netflix documentary.

Though Prince Harry loved seeing the couple together, he admitted his relationship with his older brother had changed.
"I recall Kate walking down the aisle, looking incredible, and I recall Willy walking her back up the aisle, and as they disappeared through the door, into the carriage that would convey them to Buckingham Palace, into the eternal partnership they'd pledged, I recall thinking: Goodbye," Harry wrote.

Prince Harry also documented Kate Middleton's rift with Meghan Markle, which made the future queen seem cold and uninviting.
The Duchess of Sussex and Kate failed to develop a friendship, and the tension between the royal wives became public fodder, ultimately affecting Harry's dynamic with his sister-in-law.
