Prison visits
Todd Chrisley got a little family face time during his first week in prison. "ET" reported that Todd's eldest daughter, Lindsie Chrisley, and his mom, Nanny Faye, have already visited him at the Federal Correctional Institute Pensacola in Florida, where he's serving a 12-year sentence for federal tax fraud. The outlet was apparently tipped off about the visit by comments Lindsie made on the Jan. 25 episode of her "Southern Tea" podcast when she spoke of an impromptu road trip to Florida with her grandma. "My family struggled through a lot with my parents this year," she said on the podcast. "So many things that happened legally. Though the outcome wasn't what we wanted, there is some sense of peace and closure and now we have the opportunity to be able to adjust." Earlier in the week, Savannah Chrisley said her life was "falling apart" in the wake of her mom and dad's prison sentences.

'Darkest, hardest time' of her life
Shailene Woodley was feeling spiked after a rough breakup with Aaron Rodgers. In a chat with Porter, the actress never mentioned the NFL stud by name, but she did open up about their split, revealing that she was able to work out some of her feelings through her character in the upcoming Showtime series "Three Women." "It was hard to film because I was going through the darkest, hardest time in my life; it was winter in New York, and my personal life was s*****, so it felt like a big pain bubble for eight months," she told Porter. "I was so grateful that at least I could go to work and cry and process my emotions through my character." The timeline of the breakup and filming schedule all but confirm she's speaking of the quarterback. "It honestly never really hit me that millions of people around the world were actually watching these things and paid attention to them. Then I dated somebody in America who was very, very famous. It was the first time that I'd had a quote-unquote 'famous' relationship, and I watched [the] scrutiny, opinions, the desire for people to know my life and his life and our life — it just felt violating in a way that, before, it was fun," she said. "I'm a very private person and so I found that any time I posted anything, I instantly felt like I was sharing too much of who I am with people I didn't necessarily trust."

On Jan. 25, CNN obtained the Washoe County Sheriff's Office incident report that detailed what authorities learned about Jeremy Renner's snowplow accident that took place around 9 a.m. on New Year's Day. The actor's adult nephew had gotten stuck while driving one of the actor's personal vehicles following a New Year's Eve storm, so Jeremy used his PistenBully to successfully get it out of the snow. According to the sheriff's office, the giant snowplow, which weighs more than 14,000 pounds, began "sliding sideways" then "began to roll down the hill," at which point Jeremy jumped out, he told investigators. "Once he was off the PistenBully, he realized it was heading directly toward [his nephew]," the report states, and "he feared the PistenBully was going to hit [his nephew] so he decided to attempt to stop or divert the PistenBully." But to get back in the cab, he had to climb onto its moving track — and that's when he was "immediately pulled under the left side track," the report explained. There's a belief that "mechanical issues may have been a factor in this accident," according to the report, which notes the emergency brake had not been set nor was the brake indicator light inside the cab functioning.

"Annoying" police incident
Police responded to Britney Spears' home for a welfare check this week after she abruptly deleted her Instagram. TMZ reported that fans bombarded the Ventura County Sheriff's Office with pleas to look in on the pop star. Authorities did eventually check on the "Toxic" singer and determined everything was fine and she was not in danger. Whether authorities spoke directly to Britney or to someone else isn't known. The singer is said to be "annoyed" with the law enforcement situation. Britney, of course, has deleted her Instagram several times in the past. Why fans felt the move indicated danger this time is unknown. The social media move came after Brit changed her name to "River Red" and just two weeks after she was reportedly acting "manic" at a restaurant.
New mom vibes
Paris Hilton is a mom. On Jan. 24, the heiress announced on Instagram that she and husband Carter Reum have welcomed a son. "It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," Paris told People magazine, which confirmed their son was born via surrogate. "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy." His name has not been revealed. A source told Page Six that Kim Kardashian helped Paris through the surrogacy process.
Document reactions
Hollywood had some things to say about the seemingly continuous discoveries of classified documents at the homes of President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump and former Vice President Mike Pence. Last summer, "hundreds" of classified documents were found at Trump's Mar-a-Lago home; in early January, it was announced that classified documents were found at Biden's Delaware home. As the day went on, more documents were discovered there. Then on Jan. 24, it was announced that Pence had classified documents at his home too. Bill Maher called Biden's document situation "shady." Jon Stewart said the situation is a "broader absurdity of the entire national security state." He also said of Trump, "He won't cooperate. He's above the law because he's a man of no accountability and all entitlement. " Geraldo Rivera argued that the entire situation wasn't a "scandal." Trump surprisingly supported an "innocent" Pence, telling the media to "leave him alone."
NINTH (!) surgery
On Jan. 24, Bristol Palin underwent her ninth breast reconstruction surgery to correct a "botched" reduction she had when she was 19. "I've had previous surgeries trying to correct the initial damage of muscle tissue and terrible scaring. The whole situation has honestly made me very self conscious my entire adult life," she wrote on her Instagram Story atop a post-op pic that showed her in a compression bra with surgical drains attached to her torso. "Praying this is the last surgery needed — I hate being a whiner but it kinda does put a setback/pause on life and that's why I've been fairly MIA."
