In it lies the opportunity to examine the complexities of love, family, friendship and society, while aspiring to Austen's delightfully observational voice. With Euros Lyn directing our stellar cast, I am so excited to reintroduce these hilarious and complicated characters to those who count Pride and Prejudice as their favorite book and those who are yet to meet their Lizzie and Mr. Darcy."

Pride and Prejudice has been adapted many times in the past few decades. However, the 2005 film starring Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen and Carey Mulligan gained a cult following."I think she's one of the best roles in literature," Knightley said about playing Elizabeth Bennet. "So, there's a huge pressure. It's terrifying because when you read Pride and Prejudice, you feel like you own her. I know I did. Everybody has a very clear idea of who Elizabeth Bennett is. It's terrifying but a really exciting challenge."
