On Aug. 7, Us Weekly reported that Natalie Portman and her husband of more than a decade, Benjamin Millepied, have separated again in the wake of his recent cheating scandal. "After news of his affair came out, they've been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs," a source said. A second Us Weekly source said that while the Oscar winner "has no doubt" that the dancer-choreographer "regrets what he did," things between them "just haven't been the same" since she caught him cheating. "It was a really humiliating scenario for Natalie," the second insider said, adding that "the spark" between the pair "has been missing for a really long time." Yet another Us Weekly source noted that the former long-term couple "tried to work things out" but ultimately realized that "the damage was done." Said the third source, "She couldn't forgive him and is taking a break for now."
A DailyMail.com source, meanwhile, insisted that the "Black Swan" actress — who sparked the new split rumors when she stepped out by herself in Sydney, Australia, without her wedding ring on their 11th wedding anniversary on Aug. 4 — hasn't officially pulled the plug on her marriage yet: "[Natalie] hates that [Benjamin's] infidelity has made her feel powerless. She doesn't know if she can regain her power by staying with him or leaving him. It is really a struggle to have to continue to deal with it," the source said. "They are really taking it day by day because deep down they are really in love, and they are trying to figure out what has caused the distance between them. She wants to stay with him, and he really wants to be with her. They both know that breaking up and staying together forever are still on the table and only time will tell what direction they will actually take."

On Aug. 9, DailyMail.com reported that Sandra Bullock and her long-term partner, Bryan Randall — who died on Aug. 5 — quietly exchanged vows in a non-legally-binding ceremony in front of a small group of family and friends on a beach in the Bahamas in December 2017. "They really did this for [their children], to kind of seal the deal and show them this was a forever thing. After the ceremony, [Sandra's two kids] Louis and Laila started calling Bryan dad," a source said. (The actress said in late 2021 that although Bryan was the love of her life, she had no plans to marry him after going through "the divorce process" with her ex-husband, Jesse James.)
DailyMail.com also reported that despite recent rumors that the Oscar winner and the photographed had called it quits, the couple of nearly a decade were "more together than ever" when he passed away following a secret three-year battle with ALS — a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. "It was quite convenient for them to have these rumors that they'd broken up because it helped conceal what was really going on. It was easier to let people assume they hadn't seen him because they were no longer together," said a second DailyMail.com source. A third source acknowledged that Bryan's health issues "absolutely strained" his relationship with Sandra and "was really hard for the children."

According to People magazine, Sophia Bush filed to divorce Grant Hughes on Aug. 4 following just 13 months of marriage. "Sophia and Grant were friends for 10 years and bonded during COVID through their love of community service. They continue to run their nonprofit together and remain good friends," a source said. Sophia memorably divorced her first husband, "One Tree Hill" co-star Chad Michael Murray, in 2006 following just five months of marriage.

On Aug. 7, Page Six published a statement from Corey Feldman announcing that he and his third wife, Courtney Anne Mitchell, recently separated following nearly seven years of marriage: "It is with great sadness that Courtney and I have made the decision to separate after many wonderful years together. We have been through so much together and still have much love and respect for each other. There is no one to blame. This is a case of life becoming really hard, Courtney dealing with health issues, and two people who have grown apart and now find themselves at a crossroads," the former child star said, adding that he and his ex are also breaking up professionally. Courtney, who's toured with Corey and his band as a singer for years, is leaving her estranged husband's current tour to focus on her health as she battles chronic fatigue syndrome and other issues. "On behalf of myself and my band, we all love her and ask for your prayers in wishing her a speedy recovery. We don't know what the future will hold, but we know that the love we have for each other is not going anywhere," Corey concluded.
Courtney later released her own statement to Page Six confirming the breakup: "It is with a deep and heavy sadness that I am announcing my separation from Corey. We've shared some amazing times together both private and public, and I will always cherish these moments we've shared together. I love him dearly and I always will," she said.

On Aug. 6, Bachelor Nation stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick took to Instagram to share a joint statement confirming speculation that they recently called it quits: "After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking the time to properly process it ourselves, we are saddened with heavy hearts to share that we have decided to end our engagement. We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate. Our dogs Ramen and Pinot will continue to be cared for together as brothers. While their humans are no longer romantically involved, we will love and take care of them together. Continuing our friendship is incredibly important to both of us. We feel grateful to be ending our engagement with love and respect for each other. It's heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for one another will never die. On Aug. 4, Page Six shed some light on Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth's recent divorce settlement: According to legal documents obtained by the New York Post's gossip column, the actress and the former talent agent will share custody of their 10-year-old son, Tennessee, and split his expenses down the middle. Neither party will pay spousal support or child support to the other because they each earn more than $100K a year. The duo — who signed an NDA to keep their business and personal affairs private — also asked the court to allow them to skip a parenting seminar because they've been "effectively co-parenting" their son since they split in the spring. Reese and Jim agreed to divide their art, furniture and other household property, while they're each walking away from the marriage with their own cars and bank accounts. Their properties have already been divided in accordance with their various trusts.

On Aug. 4, The Sun reported that, according to a source, Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton "were together for a long time but had grown apart" and quietly "split earlier this year." The insider went on to say that the "Bohemian Rhapsody" co-stars are "moving on with their lives and are busy with work." The Oscar winner is said to be "enjoying life and living it up" in the wake of the breakup. "Rami has surrounded himself with his mates and has spent the summer enjoying himself," the source said while downplaying the actor's relationship with "The Crown" star Emma Corrin.
Rami and Emma got tongues wagging when they were photographed looking cozy together while watching Bruce Springsteen perform in London in mid-July. According to The Sun's source, Rami asked Emma to join him at the concert, and "they had a great time" together.

During an interview with USA Today that debuted online on Aug. 7, Chris Noth fessed up to cheating on his wife of more than a decade, Tara Wilson, but denied late 2021 allegations that he sexually assaulted multiple women: "I strayed on my wife, and it's devastating to her and not a very pretty picture. What it isn't is a crime," said the "Sex and the City" alum. "You give yourself the same excuses that many men do; it's just a little side dance, and it's fun. You're not hurting anybody. No one's going to know about this, you know, and sex is just enjoyable. And suddenly, a lot of people want to have sex with you. It's like, 'Well, I'm not going to get this chance again,'" he added of his infidelity. Chris also noted that he and his missus are still together and focused on healing their family. According to People, Blackpink's representation released a similar statement to a South Korean media outlet.

On Aug. 9, Kaitlynn Carter took to Instagram to announce that she and her love of three years, Kristopher Brock, are engaged. "He got me good!" she captioned a video depicting the surprise proposal, which went down on the side of a country road. The fashion designer and the former star of "The Hills: New Beginnings" have welcomed two children since they got together in mid-2020. Kristopher also has an older son from a previous relationship.

Lesley captioned a cozy-looking photo with the former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star — who was previously married to Shannon Beador for 17 years — on her private Instagram account. New couple alert?! Tom Sandoval prompted speculation that he has a new girlfriend when he left The Fleur Room in West Hollywood with singer Tii on Aug. 6. (They were snapped leaving the cocktail lounge in the same car — see photos here.) Two days later, Page Six reported that, according to a source, they met through mutual friend Billie Lee. "Tii is a good friend of Billie, who introduced her to Tom. [They] ad a lot of fun during their night out and there's definitely a connection," one source said. A second insider said that Tom and Tii "enjoyed getting to know each other" and noted that the reality star thinks his new companion is "a really cool girl."
Tom has been back on the market since he split from "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars Ariana Madix and Rachel Leviss — who was previously known as Raquel Leviss — earlier this year following a headline-making cheating scandal involving both women.

According to People magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos, CNN correspondent Eva McKend married Dennis R. Bates Jr. at a private, 300-acre estate in Frederick, Maryland, on Aug. 6. "Dennis is smart, kind and easygoing. The best feeling is when I see him come in through the door from work or when I come home and I meet him waiting for me. I feel a near instant sense of relief as he has a calming and nurturing presence," the TV journalist gushed of her new husband, who added that he's "excited to build a life" with someone who's "warm, outgoing, affectionate, intelligent and aware of the important issues of our times." The duo met on the dating app Bumble in 2019 and got engaged in July 2022.
