One House Republican proposed a shocking bid to try to hurt Representative
Ilhan Omar.
In a Tuesday, February 11, message urging fundraisers to support the cause, Texas politician
Brandon Gill sent an email with the subject line, "Petition:
Deport Ilhan Omar." Within the contents of the horrific note, the right-winger added, "We should have never let Ilhan Omar into our country."

According to
Axios, the scathing proposal by Gill continued, "And frankly, America would be a much better place if she were to be sent back to Somalia."
"The time has come to
arrest and deport Ilhan Omar," the email read. "Sign my petition and let's send her back to Somalia where she belongs."
The former investment banker pointed to a video of the Minnesota politician telling immigrants in her district they are "not obligated" to answer questions from
ICE. Omar also pleaded with them to "learn the laws and prepare yourself."
"A normal society would refer to that as treason," Gill alleged while accusing his colleague of "facilitating a full-scale invasion of our country."
Omar fired back at Gill's baseless claims. "It is truly disgusting that members of the Republican party feel emboldened to engage in racist and quite frankly fascist remarks," she said in a statement.
"Representative Gill's attempt to clout chase by threatening to deport a legal U.S. citizen because you disagree with them is directly out of
Donald Trump's fascist playbook," the left-wing politician added.
"I hope Representative Gill learns a thing or two about the value immigrants bring to this country and stop threatening Americans that disagree with him," Omar concluded her poignant note.
The deputy chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus has been outspoken about the current administration and its extreme policies. Omar most recently blasted Trump after he said he would allow white
South Africans to resettle in the U.S. as refugees.
"I think making our refugee resettlement system into one that is discriminatory obviously is problematic. It's currently halted and he wants to make an exception only for white people — that just is plainly wrong and ridiculous," she emphasized in an interview with
HuffPost.
"I don't think people who facilitated apartheid should be looked at as the ones that are being oppressed. But
Elon Musk is getting his money's worth," Omar added.
