Donald Trump enjoyed a pre-inauguration celebration in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, January 19, at the Capital One Arena.
While pledging his commitment to "making America great again," the real estate tycoon ended his rally by performing alongside the Village People.

The politician often does a dance, dubbed the "Trump shuffle," to the popular song "Y.M.C.A."
Critics on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared their thoughts on the signature move.

Trump incorporated the Village People's music into his successful campaign, but fans didn't approve of the disco group's participation in the recent inaugural festivities.
"On my Facebook comments, I get so many people saying, 'We're not gonna listen to your music anymore,' and all kinds of stuff," member Victor Willis told NPR when discussing the band's decision to attend the victory rally.
"We're trying to make people come together and unite the country, and regardless if you didn't vote for him — Basically, I'm a Democrat. We lost, so… we have to put that aside and it was time for everybody to get behind the President-elect," he concluded.
Prior to him being sworn in as 47th president of the United States, he expressed disappointment in Joe Biden's time in office.
"Tomorrow at noon, the curtain closes on four long years of American decline, and we begin a brand new day of American strength and prosperity, dignity and pride," Trump told a large crowd in the nation's capital.
"Once and for all we're going to end the reign of a failed and corrupt political establishment in Washington, a failed administration," he added.
Despite the negative reactions toward Trump, the convicted felon still won the popular and electoral vote during the 2024 presidential election.
