The real reason Jay Cutler deleted his Instagram after KCav's viral post

Much has been made of Jay Cutler's decision to delete his Instagram account this week. Many assumed it had to do with his ex Kristin Cavallari's reunion with her high school sweetheart, Stephen Colletti, but the real reason Jay scrubbed his account remained unknown… until now.

The former NFL quarterback, a source tells E! News, didn't want to be pestered about his ex and her love life.

"In the wake of the [Stephen] photo, Jay was getting a lot of heat on social media. He was over it and deleted his account," the source said.

Jay, it should be noted, was never too active on social media. In fact, Kristin has said she's the one who actually ran his account.

"I think there needs to be a little clarification on Jay's Instagram," she told For The Win in 2018. "It's not him running it. It's me. It's what Jay would have if he had Instagram."

In April, Kristin and Jay announced on Instagram they were getting divorced after 10 years together. Since then, the couple's amicable split has turned somewhat nasty, with Kristin alleging that Jay is withholding money from her.

This week, Jay seemed to be the furthest thing from Kristin's mind as she reunited with Stephen, whom she famously dated on "Laguna Beach," MTV's super-popular reality TV show that aired from 2004 to 2006.

2004 or 2020?!

Fans immediately clamored for a reconciliation, but multiple media outlets reported the two are just friends.

Space travel

Tom Cruise cleared to go to space next year

Tom Cruise is leaving Earth next year.

Earlier this year, NASA and SpaceX announced that they're working with the movie star on a film that will shoot while in orbit aboard the International Space Station.

TMZ, citing the 2020-2023 ISS official manifest, reports that Tom is set to head to the ISS on the SpaceX Crew Dragon rocket and capsule in October 2021.

Little is known about the film, but it is reportedly an action-adventure movie that is not part of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise. It will become the first movie ever filmed in space.

After the otherworldly news was formally announced in the spring, several retired astronauts spoke about what Tom will experience in space. "The only thing on Earth that compares to space travel is going over Niagra Falls in a barrel while you're on fire," Scott Kelly told TMZ.

Both Scott and Roy Bridges Jr. added that usage of the space toilet will be a key part of Tom's intense space training.

Scott, who's spent more time in space than any human being, said Tom needs to move very slowly aboard the ISS, as it's not uncommon for first-time visitors to vomit because of zero gravity.

Tom's training will run the gamut of getting in and out of the space capsule and wearing a spacesuit. Plus, he'll have to learn many things that we take for granted, including how to make food and actually get it in his mouth. He'll also get training on how to sleep and clean himself while in the ISS.

The astronauts said the "Top Gun" star will have to learn to prepare for a space emergency, such as space debris flying into the ISS. He'll also be trained on surviving an ocean splashdown when he comes back to Earth.

Role play

Kit Harington is done with 'masculine' roles

During a chat with the Telegraph, Kit, who famously played Jon Snow on "Game of Thrones," said he wants to move on from heroic characters.

"I feel that emotionally men have a problem, a blockage, and that blockage has come from the Second World War, passed down from grandfather to father to son," he said. "We do not speak about how we feel because it shows weakness, because it is not masculine. Having portrayed a man who was silent, who was heroic, I feel going forward that is a role I don't want to play anymore," he said.

Kit, 33, adds, "It is not a masculine role that the world needs to see much more of."

Thinking of himself as somewhat of a complex person, Kit noted that those are the roles he's now vying for.

While the days of playing heroic and stoic characters like Jon Snow are over, Kit does think he brought "a certain self-reflective, introverted broodiness" to Jon Snow's personality.

Kit has spoken about trying to shed the Jon Snow character before. In 2018, following a makeover, he told Entertainment Weekly, "I like having the long hair and beard both, but it will be like ritualistic thing. I can't go into my next role looking the same. This role was brilliant, but I'll need to get rid of Jon Snow."

Ambush interview?

Tamron Hall denies she went 'rogue' during Stassi Schroeder interview

During a chat with Tamron Hall last week, Stassi Schroeder spoke out publicly for the first time about her firing from "Vanderpump Rules." Soon after, a report from Us Weekly claimed that the reality TV star felt ambushed by the journalist.

Tamron is now speaking out about that "fair and open conversation," while also expressing one regret.

"The other day I was told that there was a report that Stassi felt 'unprepared' and that it was 'awkward.' Even that I had gone rogue — whatever that means," Tamron said on her eponymous talk show on Sept. 22. "Let me just be open because I'm expecting everybody who's participating in this show today, I want them to be open, so I have to do the same. It's why I wanted this show to be honest with you."

"So I'm going to take you behind the scenes of TV," she continued. "Now, I don't tell people the specific questions I'm going to ask them. How they answer, that's up to them. But the topic and everything that we discussed, Stassi knew. She knew the subject matter. She knew what I was going to ask her. Not the questions."

Tamron said that Stassi's team called on the eve of the interview and asked her not to bring up the former Bravo star's past comments about the #MeToo movement, which she called a "witch hunt." Stassi also criticized women for coming forward.

Tamron now regrets that she agreed to shy away from that line of questioning.

"It hit me to my gut that I didn't ask her," Tamron said. "But again, I want to be honest with you. Given that she was five months pregnant, the issue of race was hard enough for her and for me and it was a lot to unpack, including that Nazi comment, so I said we were not going to go down that road but we would have this difficult conversation that we all should have to provide a better platform for our children."

Stassi was one of four "Vanderpump Rules" cast members notoriously fired in June for past racist actions. For months, she remained silent on the matter. Hence, her chat with Tamron was widely promoted.

"Stassi felt totally unprepared for the interview," a source told Us Weekly. "She wasn't in a good mood afterward and felt like she was put on the spot. She has built her brand on being candid and funny, and she feels afraid to make any wrong comments or jokes and having them come across negatively, which, in turn, made the interview awkward."

"She doesn't want to make a wrong move or say anything that can be taken out of context because she really has been taking time to work on herself," the source said. "She felt somewhat caught off guard in how the interview went down because she really has been doing her best to learn, educate herself and be the best version of herself that she can be."

A second source added, "Producers laid the segments out for Stassi and her team, and everything was all set. And then, to everyone's surprise, Tamron went rogue and took the interview in a completely different direction."

Cryptic quote

Teddi Mellencamp posts of 'uncertainty' after reported 'Housewives' firing

Teddi Mellencamp is getting cryptic as reports claim she's been fired from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

"If you're feeling frightened about what comes next, don't be. Embrace the uncertainty. Allow it to lead you places," the quote read. "Be brave as it challenges you to exercise both your heart and your mind as you create your own path toward happiness."

The quote continued, "Don't waste time with regret. Spin wildly into your next action. Enjoy the present, each moment, as it comes, because you'll never get another one quite like it. And if you should ever look up and find yourself lost, simply take a breath and start over. Retrace your steps and go back to the purest place in your heart … where your hope lives. You'll find your way again."

The quote was posted just one day after reports claimed that Teddi, the daughter of singer John Mellencamp, was being axed from the Bravo reality TV show after three seasons as a "Housewife."

"The network has not been impressed with her performance on the show," a source told the Daily Mail. "They considered cutting her last season but gave her one last chance."

Other reputable media outlets reported that Teddi's "Housewives" tenure is over, as well.

Charles Sykes/Bravo

The firing comes while Teddi faces backlash about her accountability coach company, All In By Teddi. Former clients have been speaking out and implying it's nothing more than a starvation program that limits you to 500 calories a day.

For weeks, Teddi has taken heat on Instagram, so much so that she's begun disabling comments on her posts.

Amid the growing controversy, Teddi reposted a message from a fan.

"Haters are an indication that you are on the path to greatness! They'll call you crazy. They'll call you weird. They may even mock you for dreaming so big. Let THEM!," the message said. "And remember this…it's only those who are crazy enough to DREAM BIGGER who are the ones who change the world… Who change their own lives and the lives of others! If there aren't people doubting you, calling you crazy or thinking you're weird YOU AREN'T DREAMING BIG ENOUGH!"

In reposting the message, Teddi added, "hater's gonna hate."

Pet attack

Lindsey Vonn's dogs attacked by porcupine

Lindsey Vonn's dogs are recovering after an incident involving a porcupine.

On Sept. 22, the Olympic skier posted several photos and videos of her pups. Several of the posts show the dogs with quills stuck in their faces.

"So… my boys got into some trouble over the weekend," she captioned the post. "They ran out of the house and chased after a porcupine… as boys do. Incredibly thankful that they are ok."

In addition to the images showing the effects of the attack, Lindsey also shared adorable photos and videos of her dogs after the quills were removed.

"I greatly appreciate my family and friends for helping them make it home safe and the love and care that they got from White Pine Vet," she wrote. "You guys are the best!"

Lindsey also posted about the ordeal on the Instagram account dedicated to her dogs.

"But it looked like it wanted to play…." the post read alongside the funny hashtag, "The Porcupine Is Not Our Friend."

Many of Lindsey's A-list pals commented with shock. Lindsey's fiancé, hockey player P.K. Subban, was confident that the pups will quickly bounce back.

"My boys will be right back in the mix," he wrote.

ICE issues

ICE preparing 'removal proceedings' for '90 Day Fiancé' star

"90 Day Fiancé" star Larissa Lima's stay in the United States could very well be coming to an end.

On Sept. 19, that the reality TV star was taken into custody in Las Vegas by ICE. Larissa was released several hours later, and she said she was "good to go" on social media. The purpose of the arrest was a mystery, but things are become a little more clear now.

TMZ obtained documents on Sept. 22 that show Larissa, a native of Brazil, has been "placed in removal proceedings" in accordance with the Immigration and Nationality Act. A hearing will be set to determine if she'll have to leave the United States.

Larissa's arrest came moments before she and her boyfriend, Eric Nichols, were set to move from Las Vegas to Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Carmen Nys, who also appears on "90 Day Fiancé," wrote about the arrest on her Instagram Story in real time, saying she and Eric watched agents take Larissa away.

"[Larissa] just got arrested by ICE when she was about to leave their house and move to Colorado," Carmen wrote. "We have no clue why."

After several hours of detainment, Larissa was released. While enroute to Colorado, she quickly posted a video to Instagram stating that ICE agents were nice and she's "good to go."

On Sept. 22, the Larissa spoke about the changes happening in her life.

"People are taking advantage of my situation posting false information and making speculations. Since day one, my name has been on the blast," she said. "Daily, I receive threats of all kinds, even rape and death, written in words that would make any sane person go insane. It appears to have become an obsession and even an occupation for some people to constantly post about me in the most degrading and abusive ways."

She added, "What was just a site for fans of the show to vent, has turned abusive. Yes, I could fight them, get a restraining order if they are residing in the same state as me, if not it becomes a matter of FBI.

"I know a handful of people that have overcome the obstacles that I am going through. That gives me strength. It is also true that I have endless support and love from my family, my friends, and so many fans. It is this support that keeps me moving forward," she continued. "I want to explain everything that has happened in the recent, and in my past, but I'm struggling to come up with the right words to type that give my feelings justice."

Referencing her recent hugely-successful one-hour lingerie show on the webcam app, CamSoda, she said, "It is my desire to empower all women, and stop the discrimination and stigma of those that work with agencies such as Onlyfans and camsoda. These platforms have helped millions of people going through the pandemic shutdown."

Larissa promised to speak more deeply about her life and her situation on YouTube.

"I will be able to tell my story and shed light for the immigration process I am experiencing," she said. "I've been gagged many times after telling my followers I am going to talk. Well, soon I'm removing that gag around me permanently."

Sunny Hostin thinks she's treated differently at ABC because of race

Sunny Hostin is not treated the same way as the other hosts of "The View," she says in her upcoming book, and she thinks it has to do with her race.

Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock

While promoting her new memoir, "I Am These Truths," Sunny spoke to Ronan Farrow and implied that she feels a bit like the odd woman out on "The View." She said that unlike the other women, she was never given a formal introduction as a panelist.

"I was sort of guest hosting, guest hosting, and then just… was there," she said.

She also said she gets ready for the show away from the other women.

"I was given a dressing room on a different floor; and I noticed that other co-hosts that came on after I came on were given dressing rooms on the main floor with everyone else," she said.

Sunny, who also serves as Senior Legal Correspondent and Analyst for ABC News, was asked if these perceived slights were due to her race.

"I think I was treated differently than a white woman would have been treated," she told Ronan. "It's those little indignities that make you feel and question whether or not you are being treated differently, whether or not the expectations for you are just different."

"And you wonder: Am I being crazy? Am I being sensitive? Am I playing the race card? And I decided that it felt wrong to not tell the truth … to paint this rosy picture," she continued, referring to her book.

These affronts, she said, are what Black men and women "deal with every single day in different scales."

Sunny is fiercely proud of her book. ABC, however, is nervous and wants her to censor her book, she alleged.

"They were concerned about how it made the network look," she said.

Initially, Sunny did as ABC wanted, but ultimately decided she wanted an uncensored version of her story to be told.

"I called the publisher and I said I have something else to say, and that was probably the hardest part of the book because my employer didn't know that I was doing that," she said. "But I did it, and it felt good to do it because I think the foreword is hopeful but it's truthful."

Plastic surgery

'Housewives' star gets nose job: 'I'm not trying to hide anything'

"The Real Housewives of New York City" star Leah McSweeney has revealed that she recently got a nose job.

The reality TV star said fans were asking about bruises on her face, so she came clean, posting a video to her Instagram Story showing off the short-term effects and a bandaged nose.

"People are [messaging] me like crazy inquiring why I have black eyes, asking me if I got a nose job, asking me if I got beat up. I am not trying to hide anything from anybody," she said. "I got a rhinoplasty and a septoplasty and I could not be happier."

Leah said this was far from a spur of the moment decision, adding that she's wanted a nose job for "so freaking long."

"Now I can also breathe, which is great. And I love my doctor. He's a great guy. He's an amazing doctor," she said, adding that she never wanted to secretly hide her plastic surgery with makeup. People who do that, she said, are "weird."

"I'm just never going to be one of those [women] that pretends like it's not work, it's contour makeup," she said.

Leah has long taken pride in being honest with her fans — she previously admitted to receiving Botox and getting her lips done.

The 38 year old is currently in contract negotiations with Bravo about returning to the reality show.

Case of the munchies

Cardi B sparks pregnancy rumors after bizarre late night craving

Fans are wondering if Cardi B is eating for two due to an odd (and gross) late-night diet choice.

On Sept. 20, the "WAP" rapper snapped a photo of her late-night snack, which she posted along with the caption, "Goodnight." The snack? Two chocolate chip cookies covered in ketchup.

Fans were baffled by the snack. Even Lizzo was dumbfounded.

"Wait…. I was w ya on plantain w ketchup… but this?" she commented on Cardi's post. Another friend wrote, "Cardiiiiii nooooooo."

Naturally, others felt that the only logical explanation for the befuddling bite was pregnancy.

"Are you pregnant?" one person asked. Another flatly said, "She's pregnant" due to the munchie. "U must be pregnant again," yet another said, echoing countless similar unfounded claims.

Cardi already has one child, 2-year-old daughter Kulture, whom she shares with Migos rapper offset.

The chances of Cardi being pregnant seem slim. Just last week, she filed for divorce from Offset, her husband of three years. She has indicated that she wants the divorce to be amicable, and she amended the filing to indicate that.

A few days after her formal divorce filing, she opened up about the split, saying the marriage ended because of frequent arguing.

"I'm okay. I wanted to let y'all know I have not shed one tear," she said on Instagram Live.

There were rumors that Offset cheated on her, as well, but Cardi denied that speculation.

"I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man… sometimes you're just tired of the arguments and the build-up," she said. "You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave."
