"There's never been a trip like this by any president or anybody ever before," Donald Trump told Fox News' Special Report host Bret Baier during a Friday, May 16, interview."I should've asked for more," he added of his four-day trip, during which Saudi Arabia signed an investment deal that's reportedly worth $600 billion.

Along with visiting Saudi Arabia, Donald Trump flew to Qatar, which gifted him a $400 million jet."You know, until you bring this up now, I haven't heard about it for three days," Trump told Bret Baier when the host asked about the plane.
"I mean, we can talk about it again. You ready?" Baier asked.
"They're giving it to the United States Air Force/Defense Department of the United States and not giving it to me," Trump clarified, denying rumors he'll hold on to the jet after his second presidency comes to an end.

The aircraft, which has been described as a "palace in the sky," will be used temporarily as Air Force One."I made a good deal," Donald Trump claimed. "We need a plane for a couple of years before we get the other ones, because Boeing is very late."

Donald Trump was able to secure a $600 billion investment commitment from Saudi Arabia, and he claimed that he is one of the first presidents to prioritize the region."It was never treated properly," Trump said of the Middle East. "And it was certainly not treated well by Biden, who didn't know he was alive, frankly."
"He didn't treat this group well," the president continued, referring to the Biden administration's approach to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE.

Donald Trump later claimed the U.S. pushed Middle Eastern nations closer to China, but he noted he considers the Arab Gulf States "very important.""They were being coaxed very strongly by China," Trump said. "That solves China's fuel problems forever.
"It wasn't their preference, but they were on their way," he continued.
"We're closer to them than ever before," Trump added after visiting Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE.
