"I have been speaking to Coca-Cola about using REAL Cane Sugar in Coke in the United States, and they have agreed to do so," Donald Trump, who is an avid Diet coke drinker, announced on Truth Social about them switching up some things.

"I'd like to thank all of those in authority at Coca-Cola," Donald Trump continued. "This will be a very good move by them — You'll see. It's just better!"
Coca-Cola switched from using sugar to high fructose corn syrup for American consumers in the 1980s to reduce the cost of production.

While Coca-Cola didn't confirm if they were changing their ingredients list, they responded to the president's social media post.
"All Coca-Cola brand products are wholesome beverages manufactured in compliance with the federal law," the company said, according to
Newsweek.

Donald Trump's most recent move aligns with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s "Make America Healthy Again" agenda. As the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kennedy has been vocal about wanting to remove artificial dyes and ingredients from food production.
Kennedy announced artificial dyes would gradually be phased out of ice cream produced in the U.S. due to their contribution to the "chronic disease epidemic."
