Donald Trump claimed Volodymyr Zelensky wasted billions of dollars of U.S. aid for Ukraine."The money is the money," Trump said on Fox News' Special Report on Friday, May 16. "What bothered me — I hated to see the way it was, you know, excuse me, p***** away."
"I hated to see that checks were sent for $60 billion every time Zelensky [traveled to Washington]," he continued.

Donald Trump later hinted that there wasn't a clear explanation for how Volodymyr Zelensky used the funds."I think he's the greatest salesman in the world. Far better than me," Trump said of Zelensky.
"Where is all this money going?" he added.

Special Report host Bret Baier attempted to shift the conversation toward Vladimir Putin, but Donald Trump wasn't have it."I'm focused on Putin," Baier said.
"We send checks. We don't always send equipment. We send — just checks. We send — just cash. Where is it?" Trump continued of Ukraine and Volodymyr Zelensky.
