"You guys arrested a Milwaukee County circuit judge for allegedly helping illegal immigrants get away," Peter Doocy asked Karoline Leavitt, referring to judge Hannah Dugan. "As you guys look at other judges, would you ever arrest somebody higher up on the judicial food chain, like a federal judge or even a Supreme Court justice?""That's a hypothetical question. Again, I'd defer you to the Department of Justice for individuals that they are looking at, or individual cases. But let's be clear about what this judge did: She obstructed federal law enforcement who were looking for an illegal alien in her courthouse," the member of Donald Trump's administration replied. "She showed that illegal alien the door to evade law enforcement officials. That is a clear-cut case of obstruction. You don't have to be a lawyer to understand that. Anyone who is breaking the law or obstructing federal law enforcement officials from doing their jobs is putting themselves at risk of being prosecuted, absolutely."

Milwaukee County Circuit judge Hannah Dugan was arrested by the FBI after being accused of helping Eduardo Flores-Ruiz evade federal agents waiting to take him into custody with an administrative warrant."People who would normally be willingly participating in the justice system are now going to think twice if they think that showing up either as a defendant or a witness may lead to their own arrest," Democratic State Representative Ryan Clancy said in a statement via NPR.
Clancy also emphasized how the move was an act to scare officials and others from "standing up to the Trump regime."

Donald Trump and his supporters have been critical of the Supreme Court after they blocked the president's use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport illegal immigrants."When we're done deporting illegals, it's time to start deporting rogue judges," Federalist co-founder Sean Davis wrote on X of the decision.
"Ignore the Supreme Court. Arrest anyone who tries to enforce this [ruling]," conservative pundit Jesse Kelly proposed.

Not all Republicans have backed Donald Trump going against the Supreme Court. On the Tuesday, April 15, episode of Fox News Channel's The Story with Martha MacCallum, right-wing journalist Trey Gowdy condemned the politician for disobeying the order to return wrongly deported Kilmar Ábrego García from El Salvador to America."I think what they ought to do is probably follow the judge's order and the Supreme Court decision, which used the word 'facilitate,'" he told host Martha MacCallum. "Also in that opinion, Martha, were the words 'accidental,' 'mistake' and 'illegal.' I mean, those are not three good words you want in a Supreme Court decision."
