"Mr. President- Yes, we still care about [Jeffrey] Epstein," Roseanne Barr wrote on X on Tuesday, July 8, after Donald Trump deflected questions about the late financier during a White House press briefing. "Is there a time to not care about child s** trafficking? Read the d*** room."

On Tuesday, July 8, a reporter asked Attorney General Pam Bondi about Jeffrey Epstein, but before she could respond, Donald Trump jumped in to change the subject. "Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy's been talked about for years. We have Texas [and other things to discuss]," he said. "Are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable!"

A reporter asked Donald Trump and Pam Bondi "why there was a minute missing from the jailhouse tape" from the night Jeffrey Epstein died. Trump interrupted to ask Bondi, "Do you want to waste the time on [that question]? Do you feel like answering?"

While Pam Bondi told Donald Trump she didn't "mind answering" the question, the president continued to respond on her behalf. "I mean, I can't believe you're asking questions about [Jeffrey] Epstein at a time like this where we're having some of the greatest success and also tragedy with what happened in Texas," the president said, referring to the deadly floods that recently devastated the Lone Star State. "It just seems like a desecration, but you go ahead."
