During Theo Von's interview with Ro Khanna, the media personality expressed his frustration with the system and the way donations sway politicians."After a while, it's like, I've seen this show so many times, I think even our DNA is sick. So I think you're having newborn children that are like, 'This is f****** b*******,' because I think it's in our DNA now how long this charade has been going on. And that's where I see people are at a point where they're just at a loss," Von told the politican.
"Well, I think one of the things you go do is like look at who's taking money from these interest groups," Khanna explained.
"Okay, is there a site that we can look at where that's reported?" the comedian asked.
"OpenSecrets.org," the attorney stated.
Without hesitation, Von added, "I know Chuck Schumer's on it," before stopping himself. "Is that slander or not?"
"Not even close to the line," Khanna made clear.
"We're not? Oh good. Oh yeah, that little money monkey taking something," the stand-up star stated.
According to Khanna, voters must do solid research on the people they are supporting. "Are they voting against Big Pharma? Are they voting against the big insurance companies?" the politician said. "So, the first thing is being aware, but we've got to demand that people have a vote."

According to OpenSecrets, Chuck Schumer allegedly received a large sum of money from Blackstone Group in 2024. The majority of the cash flow originates from large individual contributions, which account for more than 70%.Theo Von also said he thinks the United States is "working for Israel" following Donald Trump's decision to join the nation in bombing Iran. In correlation, Schumer recently stated that America's support of the country needs to be "ironclad."
"The Iranian regime's stated policy has long been to destroy Israel and Jewish communities around the world. I have long said that Israel has a right to defend itself and that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Ensuring they never obtain one must remain a top national security priority," the 74-year-old said after the president's military action.

Theo Von has been supportive of Donald Trump, as he previously interviewed him and attended the Republican leader's inauguration in January. However, the funnyman made clear he did not agree with him on a possible war with Iran."I don't trust the Israel leader at all," the 45-year-old said, referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "I don't believe anything that guy says and I don't think that our soldiers should have to go and defend stuff that they start."
