Jennie Garth isn't going to let Peter Facinelli's bare finger get all the attention. A little less than a week after her newly estranged husband was photographed without his wedding ring, the actress gave paparazzi a good view of her undecorated digit as she exited a Los Angeles eatery on Monday (see pic below).
Garth offered a small smile and a peace sign on her first ringless outing since the couple announced the end of their 11-year marriage on March 13, the same day a gloomy-looking Facinelli was spotted on a motorcycle ride sans wedding band.
The exes have been quick to deny "untrue and hurtful" two-timing accusations leveled at the actor, stories that began with a dubious "insider" account that quickly wormed its way through the blogosphere.
Meanwhile, there is a lemonade-from-lemons side to their split: It should help boost interest in Garth's return to the small screen next month in the CMT reality show "Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country."
The show follows her move with daughters Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5, from Los Angeles to the more rural environs of Santa Ynez Valley, Calif.
"Being out here on my own with the girls is not going to be easy, but I know it's the right thing for us right now," the actress says in a clip from the show. "I feel it in my heart. I'm excited about what's next."
No word on whether Brenda, Donna, Dylan, Brandon and the rest of the "Beverly Hills, 90210" gang will offer a shoulder for Kelly, ahem, Jennie to lean on.
