According to personal stylist
Cynthia Kennedy, Meghan Markle went for more casual wardrobe pieces for the second installment of
With Love, Meghan, to show her vast difference from the formality of the royal family. "Her revamped style is sending everyone a message that I don't have to dress like a duchess anymore. I get to dress like myself and be more approachable, modern, authentic and real," the fashion expert
noted.

Meghan Markle's outfits on the upcoming installment — which is set to premiere on August 26 — are a significant departure from the lifestyle series' debut season. "Her choices feel deliberate and more like a conscious move toward comfort, vulnerability, relatability and ease without losing that sense of polish that keeps her aspirational. It's a careful balance and I think she's hitting it," Cynthia Kennedy explained, adding that Meghan previously wore "put-together looks that were almost 'Duchess-lite'" featuring "clean tailoring and muted neutrals." The stylist emphasized how the Suits star has currently been rocking "softer, relaxed, effortless and more lived-in" looks.

Although the change may be subtle, Cynthia Kennedy thinks Meghan Markle is making it clear to audiences who she is through her clothes. "It signals that she's not trying to perform 'royalty' anymore, but instead connect with people as a modern woman, wife and mother," Kennedy claimed.
