The Film Independent Spirit Awards lets the stars rock slightly more casual ensembles every year, as the show goes down beachside in the coastal town of Santa Monica, California. Now that the awards have been handed out, Wonderwall.com is rounding up the best and worst fashion of the day from the March 6, 2022, ceremony. First up? Lily James' odd Del Core pick was a puzzler. The "Pam and Tommy" star has been wowing in the style department lately, but she didn't impress in this pink cropped and spaghetti-strapped top with comically massive sleeves. She paired the unfortunate top with high-waisted wide-legged black trousers for a serious miss.

Kristen Stewart usually knocks it out of the park in her quirky Chanel looks, but this jumpsuit fell flat. The long-sleeved sparkly white design featured black detailing at the waist and down the legs, and while we appreciated the way her pointy-toe pumps matched those additions perfectly, this shimmery look was not one of our favorites from the "Spencer" star.

Another star sporting a slinky black frock that showed plenty of skin? Julia Fox, though her pick didn't fare as well as Daisy Edgar-Jones's selection. The "Uncut Gems" actress (and recent ex of Kanye West) rocked this puzzling design with one spaghetti strap and one thicker strap that flowed into what seemed to be a half-bikini top, half-ruffled bodice. Making things even more interesting? A massive cut-out at the hip bordered by ruffles. And as she's been known to do lately, Julia also added some edgy makeup…

Our pick for best dressed man on the red carpet? That honor goes to Andrew Garfield, who added a pop of bright color to his look in the form of a cheery purple suit jacket. Underneath, he rocked a lighter variety of the color — a lilac dress shirt — and completed his laidback and impossibly cool look with chocolate brown trousers and boots.

Maggie Gyllenhaal was one of the big winners at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards — she took home best director, best screenplay and best feature honors — but we can't say the same for her flower-covered red carpet look.

Recognize this dress? Breeda Wool wore a Christopher John Rogers design featuring all the colors of the rainbow. The only problem? Mandy Moore wore the same look last month! Though Breeda opted to take her look one step more colorful with the addition of strappy purple sandals.

Another star feeling the rainbow? Daveed Diggs, who selected this suit and dress shirt combination by Moschino. Making things even more colorful? His equally eye-catching dress shoes that finished out the bold getup.

Helen Hunt was feeling wild on the red carpet in a cool tiger-striped minidress in different shades, complete with a tiger motif on the skirt. She finished off her memorable look with a pair of Sarah Flint sandals.

Hannah Einbinder's printed suit was fab, but paired with a matching dress shirt, it felt like a little too much print. The star rocked the matching coordinates with a pair of heeled black boots for a bold look that ultimately landed among the misses.

Obsessed! Michelle Yeoh arrived in this collared long-sleeved gown in a shimmery pale pink, blue and silver print that we absolutely adored. From the subtle glimmer to the unique silhouette, there wasn't one aspect of this frock we didn't love.
