Prince Harry's charity Wellchild announced they will no longer be using the social media platform X. "We have made the decision to discontinue posting on X. Recent changes to the platform mean it no longer reflects our values or the way we wish to communicate with our community," they wrote in a
message shared on the outlet. "You can continue to connect with us through our other social media channels, where we remain active and engaged."

Despite Wellchild's time on X coming to an end, people will still be able to contact them through the platform. "For now, we will continue to monitor our private inbox on X," they added. "Thank you to all our followers for your support, understanding and ongoing connection. Your commitment means so much to us."

Prince Harry has been a patron of Wellchild since 2007. The organization works to help sick children and provide them with the tools to heal. "For 20 years, these awards have highlighted the courage of young people living with complex health needs and shone a light on the devoted caregivers — family and professionals — who support them every step of the way," he said in a 2025 statement via
Daily Express. "Their stories remind us of the power of compassion, connection and community."

The change for one of
Prince Harry's beloved charities comes as he continues to struggle to find his purpose. "
Prince Harry has essentially traded one hierarchy for another," royal expert
Kinsey Schofield told
Fox News Digital. "In the royal family, he was the spare to
Prince William. In Hollywood, he risks becoming the supporting character to
Meghan Markle's ambitions. The entertainment industry rewards relevance, star power and personal branding."
