Shake, rattle and roll!
On April 5, the New York area violently shook for a few moments after a 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck. The epicenter was in Lebanon, New Jersey, and tremors could be felt in Philadelphia and the Big Apple. It was reportedly the largest earthquake in New Jersey since 1884. The Weather Network said it was the fourth biggest earthquake ever recorded in the Garden State.
While Californians are used to tremors, earthquakes on the East Coast are incredibly rare, which is evident by the stunned reactions of several entertainers, newscasters and politicians.
"Did we just have an earthquake? (In CT)," Megyn Kelly wondered on X on April 5, adding, "That was insane! Who else felt it?"
