In excerpts obtained by RadarOnline.com, Alex Isenstad claims the downfall of Donald Trump and Rupert Murdoch's relationship started on election night in 2020 when The Apprentice star lost to former President Joe Biden.Per the tell-all, Trump was enraged when Murdoch's Fox News called Arizona in favor of his Democratic rival. The right-wing leader instructed his loyalists to tune into Newsmax instead, leaving his typical network of choice to dwindle in ratings.

Despite Rupert Murdoch once seeing Donald Trump as a "useful idiot who was good for business," other long-term issues between them quickly came into play."Trump had for years seen the WASPish Murdoch as part of the elite club that had long looked down on him, dating back to his days as a Queens-born developer with a chip on his shoulder," the book claims of their history in the New York social scene.

He's so cold," Trump allegedly said when he saw the article.

To keep the Fox News family from crumbling, anchor Sean Hannity reportedly stepped in to smooth out tensions between Donald Trump and Rupert Murdoch. "Mr. President, I'm trying to help you out here with the Fox people here. But you're not making it easy for me by going after the Murdochs," the Republican journalist allegedly told Trump."You're not helping me. You're not helping yourself. If you can just lay off, we can start making some moves and getting back to normal," Hannity explained.
While the world leader appreciated the anchor stepping in, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles told Hannity, "Well, Sean, President Trump is going to do what President Trump thinks is best and fair."
