President Donald Trump now insists the Jeffrey Epstein files are nothing more than "boring" and claims that only "bad people" are interested in the subject. While several political leaders have called for greater transparency, others argue the case is already in trusted hands — specifically Attorney General Pam Bondi.
"Pam Bondi is the best attorney general Donald Trump has had by a factor of 10,000," former Florida congressman Matt Gaetz said.
"Of course on any team dynamic, passionate people will have their disagreements, but… smart people debate things, they hash them out, then everyone brings their best ideas to President Trump and he makes the final decision," he added.

President Donald Trump's recent comments have seemingly caused friction with his base, many of whom have long pushed for the full release of the Jeffrey Epstein files. He had previously signaled a willingness to release "credible" information, but stated he would defer to Pam Bondi's judgment on the matter.
Now, it seems his tone has changed — targeting supporters who continue to press the issue.

Writing on Truth Social, President Donald Trump spoke out against former backers who demand access to the files."My PAST supporters have bought into this 'bulls***,' hook, line, and sinker. They haven't learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years," he wrote.
"Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats' work, don't even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don't want their support anymore!" Trump added.
