Donald Trump made an extremely bold remark during the National Day of Prayer.On Thursday, May 1, at a gathering in the Rose Garden of the White House, the Republican leader falsely remarked that he "won" the presidency "three times" and continued to deny that he lost to Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

While recalling a conversation he had about prayer with Dr. Ben Carson, Donald Trump alleged he secured victory every time he ran for the presidency."He said it once again in the church. Remember that, Ben?" the right-wing leader said. "He pulled me over. He said, 'Remember what I told you, God is with you.' And we went on to win. Three times we won."
As the crowd roared with cheers and laughter, Trump added, "We won the first time. We did great the second time. We won the second time, everybody knows it. But we made it too big to rig the third time. Too big to rig. They tried! They tried!"

The false claim that the 2020 election was rigged is something Donald Trump has continued to insist since he lost to Joe Biden.Ahead of the results of the 2024 race, the businessman told an audience during a rally in Georgia in August of that year via PBS: "We have to vote and we have to make sure that we stop them from cheating, because they cheat like dogs."
During a speech to the Fraternal Order of Police, Trump remarked, "Watch for the voter fraud, because we win without voter fraud, we win so easily."

As Donald Trump continues his second term in office, rumors have swirled that he will try to run again in 2028 despite the 22nd amendment barring him from it."A lot of people want me to do it," he said in a March interview with NBC News. "But, I mean, I basically tell them we have a long way to go, you know, it's very early in the administration. I'm focused on the current."

Despite the clear amendment in the constitution, former White House strategist Steve Bannon seems to think Donald Trump will remain in office for the foreseeable future."I'm a firm believer that President Trump will run and win again in 2028, so I've already endorsed President Trump," the former investment banker told Chris Cuomo. "A man like this comes along once every century if we're lucky. We've got him now. He's on fire and I'm a huge supporter. I want to see him again in 2028."
