Bad Bunny — who made a joint appearance with
Adam Sandler on
Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote their new film,
Happy Gilmore 2 — admitted that he was "a little tipsy" when he met the actor. The reggaeton star shared that he was nervous and freaked out a little when he first interacted with Sandler when they crossed paths at a Lakers game the Grammy winner attended with his best friend. "I was waiting for that moment," he said.

The duo first locked eyes across the basketball court, and Bad Bunny was moved to tears from the excitement. "When he did the eye contact with me and said hi — bro, I cried," the rapper revealed.

Bad Bunny managed to contain his excitement while interacting with
Adam Sandler in public. "I did hold my tears, like, 'No, no, I can't cry here on courtside,'" he said. "I was like, 'No, no way, he knows who I am!'"

Adam Sandler addressed his decision to cast Bad Bunny in
Happy Gilmore 2. "I saw him and I couldn't believe how funny he was," he said. "We said, 'That's a great idea,' so that's how it happened. He's doing fine with or without me, but I'm happy he's in this, man."
