"[A therapist] told me to write down how much I did in a week: 20 E's, four grams of coke, six of speed, half an ounce of hash, three bottles of Jack Daniel's, 12 bottles of red wine, 60 pints. ... There was a lot of partying. I had a good time, but I paid a heavy price," said the Irish actor, who often bragged about his fast-lane lifestyle in interviews. Both the boozing and boasting stopped when he went to rehab in 2005. "I just wanted to stop. I was done with it, I was tired of it, I wanted to get off the treadmill. Giving up alcohol has put more focus on my career. I'm a lot more appreciative over what I have."
