They welcomed their first child, actress-model Lily-Rose Depp, in 1999 and son Jack Depp in 2002 before ultimately calling it quits in 2012 after 14 years of coupledom.

Less than a year after splitting from Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis released her sixth studio album, "Love Songs." She went on to star alongside her daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, in the 2016 comedy-horror movie "Yoga Hosers" before joining the Cannes Film Festival jury later that same year. Vanessa made her stage debut in 2021 in a Paris production of "Maman," a play written and directed by husband Samuel Benchetrit, whom she wed in 2018, and earned a Molière Award nomination for best actress in a private theatre for her efforts.
