Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their roles as senior working royals in 2020. According to Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, Queen Elizabeth II likely hoped things had played out differently. "There is no doubt in my mind that she didn't want Harry and Meghan to leave," Burrell said, according to DailyMail.com. "She did not want 'Megxit' as it was dubbed, as she knew they would be estranged from her world."

Before she married Prince Harry, Meghan Markle was best known for her role on Suits. She retired from acting and abandoned her blog, The Tig, to focus on her royal duties. However, Paul Burrell claimed Queen Elizabeth II supported the duchess maintaining a professional life outside of the monarchy. "The queen even said to Meghan, 'You can go back to acting if you want to.' She was willing to bend the rules for Meghan, and offered to talk to her whenever she had any problems," he claimed.

According to Paul Burrell, Queen Elizabeth II viewed Meghan Markle as an asset and wanted her and Prince Harry to remain within the royal fold. "But she was born into an Edwardian court and was nearly 60 years older than Harry. Her Majesty had lived in a different world from her grandson. How could the queen understand all of Harry's problems? She couldn't," Burrell said.

Despite Prince Harry's desperation to leave the firm, he and Queen Elizabeth II had a unique bond. "[They had] a special relationship – particularly because Harry was something of a joker," Paul Burrell claimed. "He didn't always adhere to protocol. Everyone was very stiff and starchy around the queen, which she disliked, but he was relaxed and funny."

Before they moved to the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen as the future of the monarchy, along with Kate Middleton and Prince William. However, the Sussexes' decision to publicize their family issues after moving to the U.S. has greatly impacted their royal ties. "Harry is now in an exile of his own making. … It is such a shame because William and Harry with their wives were the 'Fab Four' and certainly for a time Harry and Meghan were 'the golden couple.' They had everything," Paul Burrell said.

EXCLUSIVE: Ronnie and JWoww chat 15 years of 'Jersey Shore' and the finale fans can't miss

Fifteen years, countless laughs, and plenty of unforgettable drama later, the Jersey Shore family is celebrating a milestone like no other. Created by SallyAnn Salsano of 495 Productions, the franchise has grown from a summer experiment in Seaside Heights into a pop culture juggernaut — one that continues to evolve while staying true to its roots.

Now, the Season 8 finale of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs Thursday, September 11, at 8 p.m. ET on MTV, and it doubles as a full-blown 15th anniversary party. In true Shore fashion, Danny transformed the iconic Shore Store into an awards-show venue — complete with categories designed just for the cast.

Ahead of the finale, Wonderwall.com sat down with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jenni "JWoww" Farley for an exclusive conversation about the milestone, the laughs, the nostalgia and what's next for the Jersey Shore family.

Ortiz-Magro on 15 ears of 'Jersey Shore'

Fifteen years with the Jersey Shore family is a huge milestone. What was going through your mind as you filmed this finale and looked back at everything you've been through?

Ortiz-Magro: "There's so many different emotions when realizing we hit a 15-year milestone. I would never have thought we would be where we are when I first started Jersey Shore. I definitely reflect on everything I've done on the show — good and bad. You can beat yourself up and live in regret, or you can become a better person and move forward. The show has captured a lot of the ups and downs in my life. I don't look at anything as regret but as life lessons."

The finale's awards theme was such a fun way to celebrate. Which award moment made you laugh the hardest — or maybe hit you with some nostalgia?

Ortiz-Magro: "I want to say the award that made me laugh the most was my award — for basically being the biggest crybaby."

What was your reaction to Danny transforming the Shore Store into an award show set? Did it bring back memories of those early days?

Ortiz-Magro: "When I finally saw the Shore Store decorated and transformed, I was in shock and filled with excitement. Anytime we step into the Shore Store, it's going to bring back memories."

You've shared so many highs and lows on screen. How does it feel to celebrate this anniversary with the same group of people you started out with?

Ortiz-Magro: "The fact that I can celebrate with the people I've grown closest to over the last 15 years is unexplained. I still remember sitting with Vinny saying, 'What are we doing here?' And then next thing you know — here we are 15 years later."

If you could hand out one award to the cast for surviving 15 years together, what would it be and why?

Ortiz-Magro: "The Last Men Standing Award. There aren't many shows with the same cast like us, so it's like we're the last ones really doing it for reality TV."

Farley on 15 years of surprises

The finale doubles as a 15th anniversary celebration. When you look back at that first summer in Seaside Heights, did you ever imagine the Jersey Shore family would still be going strong today?

Farley: "I had absolutely no idea it would ever turn out this way. I really didn't know what to expect going into this, and it surpassed my wildest dreams."

Danny turned the Shore Store into an award show venue for this special episode — how did it feel walking into such an iconic place reimagined for the celebration?

Farley: "It's always surreal returning back to Seaside, especially iconic places like the Shore Store. It was a full-circle moment celebrating 15 years there."

You've been through so much on this journey. What moment or award from the finale felt the most personal or meaningful to you?

Farley: "Just getting together with the whole family in the place where this all originated was so special. It doesn't happen often, so when it does, it's always the best time."

Fans have truly grown up alongside you. What do you hope they take away from this milestone celebration?

Farley: "Not only did the roomies and I become a family over the years, but our fans have always been such a special part of that journey. It means so much that fans from the original show are still watching us today. I hope all our fans know we owe this all to them. They're the reason we're still doing this 15 years later!"

Looking ahead, where do you see the Jersey Shore family heading in the next chapter?

Farley: "One thing about our family is you never know what is going to happen. We're sure to surprise you. I'm probably most excited to continue watching our kids grow up together."

Prince Harry drops surprise news about U.K. trip

Prince Harry will be busy during his trip to England. In a surprise move, the Duke of Sussex has announced he will be making multiple public appearances while he's visiting his home country and will also make a donation to a cause close to his heart.

While it was confirmed Prince Harry would be flying to the U.K. to attend the annual Wellchild Awards, he will also visit Nottingham to support the BBC's Children in Need charity. The father of two will reportedly give a substantial donation to Children in Need. Harry will also visit Imperial College London's Centre for Blast Injury Studies.

Prince Harry has only returned to England a few times since he and his wife, Meghan Markle, retired from their royal duties in 2020. Matters became significantly more complicated when the U.K. government removed the 40-year-old's security detail after he left the firm. In spite of that, Harry is said to be feeling "positive" about his trip home. "He's in a really good headspace and looking forward to seeing everyone from his charities and the causes he cares about," a source said of the Spare author.

Speculation continues to run rampant that Prince Harry will be seeing his estranged father, King Charles III, while he's in London. Reconciliation isn't a given, though. "Harry has a huge mountain to overcome," royal biographer Tom Bower said. "On a human basis, he used to get on very well with Charles, so, particularly from Harry's perspective, he needs reconciliation. But time is not on their side. There would be huge levels of emotion involved if they met. Whatever Charles is facing, he would much prefer to have a good relationship with his son, so I'm sure he wants reconciliation. But he must bear in mind that he's dealing with someone who could sabotage everything and embarrass him enormously."

Prince Harry gave a heartfelt speech about Prince William and Kate Middleton on their wedding day — after first making a few jokes at his brother's expense. "In his best man's toast, Harry apologized to Kate 'for having to marry a bald man,'" royal expert Christopher Andersen wrote in his book Brothers and Wives, adding that Harry also referred to Will and Kate as the "dude and the duchess." The laughs turned to tears when he mentioned his late mother, Princess Diana. "There were muffled sobs when Harry told his brother, 'Our mother would be so very proud of you,' and sighs when he said he loved Kate like a sister," Andersen wrote.

Christopher Andersen wrote that Kate Middleton "wiped away tears when her newly minted brother-in-law," Prince Harry, "traded smiles" with his then-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, and said that Kate's "decade-long romance" with his brother, Prince William, was his "inspiration."

Prince Harry shared an emotional embrace with Prince William and Kate Middleton following the speech. "Harry put his arms around William and Kate and began to weep," Christopher Andersen wrote, adding that "soon the best man and the bride were helping brush away each other's tears while a bemused and thoroughly dry-eyed William looked on."

In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry referred to Kate Middleton as "the sister I never had, and always wanted," but the duo hasn't been seen together in years due to his move to the United States and various tell-all projects exposing the royal family. "People don't realize how much Harry and Kate love and help each other. It's key to this whole thing," Christopher Andersen wrote.

According to Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, Prince Harry and King Charles III should strive to keep their potential meeting as "off the radar" as possible. "It's vitally important for [Harry's] feeling and his desire to have a real relationship with his dad," Schiffer said. "The challenge is there's such a big trust gap that naturally is going to get amplified by all the players that surround both of them, that it creates this emotional hurdle. The only way he's really going to make that happen is for you and I and everyone else to never know about it."

Eric Schiffer continued of the need for privacy surrounding Prince Harry's meeting with King Charles III, "It has to be done in a back-channel way. If [Harry] does that and he's sincere about it and he's consistent and he's emotionally mature, I think there's a way for him to rebuild a relationship, but the onus is on him to build and show that he can maintain and respect the privacy of the king and his confidence. I think the way to get this done is going to be different than through palace aides. You have to find some relationship that Harry can count on and that will trust Harry to deliver for them, to put their capital with the king."

Eric Schiffer stressed that Prince Harry should coordinate a potential meeting with King Charles III through a close friend or family member — not a palace aide. "It will need to be done through family or a very close personal friend of Charles who Harry still has a relationship with. Doing it through palace aides is not the way to get this done because it then has the potential to invite others and then the king naturally is going to be protective," he said. "[Charles] doesn't want to look foolish. Harry's going to need to deliver and to feel emotionally ready to deliver."

"When a royal brand can't crack the board, it's likely an obituary for season 3," Eric Schiffer, who is the chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, told Newsweek of Meghan Markle's Netflix show. "Even with Chrissy Teigen and Tan France glitter-bombing the set, the series hit the pavement."

"Given that it's missed by a mile, where even hate-watchers stayed home, Season 3 is unlikely," Eric Schiffer told Newsweek of hopes for the future of Meghan Markle's Netflix show.

The second season of Meghan Markle's With Love, Meghan, failed to go viral. It wasn't as heavily mocked on social media as its predecessor, Eric Schiffer said, noting, "That influencer erosion and the lack of coverage for Season 2 was catastrophic and highlighted a litmus test for real demand which has fallen off a cliff into an abyss."

U.K.-based culture expert Nick Ede predicted Netflix will pull the plug on With Love, Meghan. "I doubt it will be renewed because Netflix is all about algorithms, it's all about viewers, it's all about touch points that create zeitgeisty moments. The first season did that," he said. "The second season was panned. The guests weren't particularly great, so that didn't elevate it. There wasn't particularly a PR push, apart from Meghan doing one interview. It felt like a side dish rather than a main dish."

While experts don't envision With Love, Meghan securing a third season, Eric Schiffer noted that Meghan Markle could score some success if she changes the series' format. "Can she turn it around? Of course," he said. "She's one big creative idea away from making it interesting. … They could go back and pitch Season 3 as something that would shock everyone and create a lot of buzz, but a ruthless read from a PR war room would be that the show's cozy authenticity didn't get traction, it failed bad. The lifestyle lane is unforgiving."

"Unless you either have some repeatable utility or can shock hardcore, then viewers are going to ghost you like an ex," Eric Schiffer continued of Meghan Markle's Netflix show. "You're competing with influencers and YouTube and minds that are willing to take those risks."

The 'massive problem' with Meghan Markle's projects

An expert is weighing in on Meghan Markle's endless business woes. After Season 2 of With Love, Meghan failed to crack the top 10 on Netflix — which in turn slowed the sale of her As Ever products used in the series — brand and culture expert Nick Ede pointed out the big mistake the Duchess of Sussex is making in her numerous ill-fated ventures.

According to Nick Ede, Meghan Markle's failure to align her filming schedule with the proper stock of As Ever items featured on the show may have been a significant mistake. "It is a problem because obviously they filmed [both seasons] back-to-back," the business expert said. "If they had done two separate seasons, they could have done a lot of product placement with her As Ever brand, but obviously, when the show first started, they didn't have any products. So, you would see her using some flower sprinkles or you would see her drinking a glass of rosé, but you wouldn't actually attribute that to As Ever, so there isn't a crossover here. That's why there is a massive problem."

Despite the second installment of the lifestyle program getting low viewership in both the United States and the U.K., Nick Ede said there is definitely an audience for Meghan Markle's lifestyle series. "The viewership is down, people don't really care about With Love, [but] there's some fans who will always be appreciative of it," he said. That doesn't mean the series is lucrative, though. "For Netflix, the headache here is that, is this going to convert into sales for their product, are they actually going to make money from this?" Ede questioned. "If you think about it, they haven't really made any money just yet. Their investment must have been huge into actually creating the product and building the brand, rebranding it and putting it out there and this Season 2 is a missed opportunity which could have been a glorified infomercial if they'd got it right."

With the future of With Love, Meghan unclear, Nick Ede believes Meghan Markle still has an opportunity to see if she can sell products with the show's upcoming holiday special in December. "Obviously, she's got a Christmas special and hopefully she'll be able to include some of her actual products in there too," the public relations executive said.

2025 VMAs best and worst performances ranked

The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards had a little something for everyone: a Latin superstar proving he's still got it after decades in the game, a pop diva hitting her signature high notes, a rap superstar executing some flawless lyrical delivery, a trio of rockstars honoring a recently lost legend and so much more. But not every act hit it out of the park… Join us as we look back at every performance from the 2025 VMAs, from worst to best — with the big caveat that, by and large, the evening was stuffed with solid numbers. No. 16: Megan Moroney
The audio department did her dirty… Megan Moroney looked adorable while performing her recently released single "6 Months Later" on the Extended Play stage. If only we'd been able to hear her! Unfortunately, we could barely make out her vocals over the sound of her sparkly guitar during this super-short number that clocked in at just 90 seconds. Bummer!
No. 15: Sombr
Sombr embraced a gritty aesthetic for his performance of "Back to Friends" and "12 to 12," and while it worked visually, we weren't so sure about his vocals, which probably would've sounded just fine on their own. The highlight of his set came during the transition between his biggest hit and his newest single when his female backup dancers lifted him in the air to carry him across the stage – which was quite the sight given his tall and lanky frame.
No. 14: Lola Young
Lola Young opened the Extended Play stage with a rendition of her hit single "Messy." Her vocals sounded great, yes, but ultimately, there was nothing to write home about with this by-the-book performance.
No. 13: Bailey Zimmerman and The Kid Laroi
Blinked and you missed it. Bailey Zimmerman and The Kid Laroi delivered a trimmed-down rendition of their recently released collaboration "Lost" that was over practically just as it was getting started — which is really a shame because the two young singers were really killing it with their harmonies.
No. 12: Post Malone and Jelly Roll
Post Malone and Jelly Roll are in the midst of the European leg of their "Big A** Stadium Tour," so they couldn't make it to the VMAs to perform their hit single "Losers" in person. Instead, fans were treated to a pre-recorded performance from one of their tour stops in Germany, which culminated in a fun fireworks display.
No. 11: Mariah Carey
We hate to say it, but Video Vanguard Award recipient Mariah Carey was a bit of a disappointment. Sure, she looked great and her vocals were perfectly on point as she belted her way through a medley of some of her biggest hits including "Fantasy," "Heartbreaker," "Obsessed" and "We Belong Together," hitting more than a few of her signature high notes in the process. But we just couldn't get past how painfully uncomfortable she appeared throughout her performance. There were so many interesting things happening on stage – roller skating backup dancers, for example – but we hardly noticed them as Mimi made her way across the stage with some of the lowest energy of the evening, leaving us to wonder, "Can she not walk in those gold bedazzled boots?!"
No. 10: Conan Gray
Conan Gray went full "theater kid" with his dramatic performance of his newly released single "Vodka Cranberry," which kicked off with him channeling Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, seemingly mourning a lost love. The singer, clad in an elaborate costume capped off with a bold cranberry-hued cape, hit some impressive high notes to close out the 2025 VMAs. It was good. We're just not sure it was epic enough to serve as the show's closing number…
No. 9: Alex Warren
Alex Warren has officially leveled up. Earlier this year, we called his performances of "Ordinary" during a competing award show "standard" and "a little boring." We're happy to say that's no longer the case. The singer-songwriter took things up a notch by opening his performance with a drumline that led into a rendition of his recently released single "Eternity" before he flowed into "Ordinary," accompanied by dancing backup singers who raised the energy until fireworks erupted across the stage.
No. 8: J Balvin with DJ Snake, Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavárez
J Balvin's VMAs performance may have started slowly with a rendition of "Zun Zun" that was polished but not necessarily anything to write home about. Fortunately, things turned explosive in the second half as the Colombian singer climbed atop a giant Timberland boot to perform "Noventa" accompanied by DJ Snake, Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavárez, plus breakdancers and plenty of pyrotechnics.
No. 7: Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga ushered in Halloween season with a pre-recorded performance of her recently released single "The Dead Dance," preceded by a pre-recorded performance of her hit single "Abracadabra," both from her run of shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden. (The Mother Monster was forced to duck out of the VMAs early to make her show at the nearby arena.) The choreography was thrilling – literally taking cues from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" – and her vocals were perfectly on point. Too bad it wasn't live!
No. 6: Doja Cat with Kenny G
Doja Cat set the bar high out of the gate with her magnetic performance of her recently released single "Jealous Type." She opened the number by interrupting the evening's host, LL Cool J, with a video of herself that highlighted her wacky theatricality. She then descended from the rafters while sprawled across a sofa — to the tune of a saxophone-playing Kenny G. She may not have done much in the way of actual singing, focusing instead on nailing some of the show's most impressive choreography, but it worked for us. We also loved how Doja honored MTV's roots by embracing an '80s aesthetic between her colorful set design and her backup dancers' retro fits.
No. 5: Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Yungblud with Nuno Bettencourt
Aerosmith legends Steven Tyler and Joe Perry teamed up with Yungblud and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt for a tribute to recently deceased rock legend Ozzy Osbourne — and let's just say the Princes of Darkness would be proud. The medley kicked off with Yungblud handling vocals on Osbourne's hit single "Crazy Train." He then tackled Black Sabbath's "Changes" before Tyler took over lead vocals for the ballad "Mama, I'm Coming Home," which ended as a duet between the two singers, who perfectly exemplified Osbourne's impact on both the older and younger generations.
No. 4: Busta Rhymes with Spliff Star, Joyner Lucas, Papoose and GloRilla
No one spits verse like Busta Rhymes — recipient of the evening's Rock the Bells Visionary Award — who delivered a flawless medley of some of his biggest hits including "Break Ya Neck," "Gimme Some More," "Scenario," "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See" and "Pass the Courvoisier" accompanied by Spliff Star, Joyner Lucas, Papoose and GloRilla. The performance featured backup dancers and an elaborate set design, but it was all secondary to Busta's incomparable, lightning-fast lyrical delivery.
No. 3: Tate McRae
Tate McRae raised temperatures (literally!) with a mashup of her hit singles "Revolving Door" and "Sports Car" that featured some truly impressive choreography courtesy of her male backup dancers — delightfully clad in nothing but briefs – who used their bodies to create various vignettes before the pop star turned the stage into a giant sandbox, then into a blazing inferno of pyrotechnics.
No. 2: Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter brought her signature theatricality to the VMAs with her performance of her newly released single "Tears," which kicked off as she climbed onto the stage from a manhole onto a set that paid homage to New York City's drag scene, complete with several RuPaul's Drag Race alums and ballroom superstars. As the number progressed into a powerful piece of protest art advocating for trans rights, rain began to pour on stage, soaking the former child star and sealing her fate as one of the evening's top performers.
No. 1: Ricky Martin
He's still got it! Ricky Martin knocked it out of the park with a medley of several of his greatest hits including "Livin' la Vida Loca," "Maria" and "The Cup of Life." The electric, dance-heavy performance kicked off with the first ever Latin Icon Award recipient descending from the rafters in a box — and things only got more exciting from there. Jessica Simpson said it best when she presented his award following the performance: "He's still one of the most dynamic performers I know. I mean, come on, he just crushed it! And what a babe. How hot is Ricky Martin?" she gushed. "Extremely hot" is the correct answer to that question!

As the Duke of Sussex makes his way across the pond to possibly reunite with his father, King Charles III, royal experts believe his spouse may not be thrilled with Harry returning to his former life.

According to royalist Jennie Bond, Meghan Markle could be unnerved by Prince Harry being back in the U.K. — and possibly around King Charles III — after the intense turmoil between the couple and The Firm unfolded.

"It would be natural for her to feel somewhat threatened by her husband being drawn back into the royal circle. So, I think she would have conflicting emotions about Harry meeting his father, if this is indeed on the cards," the journalist explained. "I'm sure, though, that they would have discussed it and that Harry would not go ahead if he did not have his wife's support."

While it has not been confirmed whether or not Prince Harry and King Charles III will come face-to-face, it would reportedly be the first time the father and son have seen each other in months.

"Harry has a huge mountain to overcome," royal biographer Tom Bower explained of their rift. "On a human basis, he used to get on very well with Charles, so, particularly from Harry's perspective, he needs reconciliation. But time is not on their side."

"There would be huge levels of emotion involved if they met. Whatever Charles is facing, he would much prefer to have a good relationship with his son, so I'm sure he wants reconciliation," he added. "But he must bear in mind that he's dealing with someone who could sabotage everything and embarrass him enormously."

During Prince Harry and King Charles III's legal battle over the U.K. government taking away the Spare author's security, Harry claimed the leader of England refused to speak with him because of the drama he caused.

"The fear with the court case was that Harry could invent something the King said about the case — and it would cause a constitutional crisis," Tom Bower noted of the suit, which the 40-year-old ultimately lost. "That fear has prevented any meeting until now, but even now the case is over, the fear still remains."

If Prince Harry and King Charles III make amends, some think Meghan Markle will struggle with her husband speaking to the royals again.

"If — and hopefully it's a 'when' not an 'if' — Harry starts to reconcile with his family over here, Meghan will ultimately face an exceedingly difficult choice," royal commentator Duncan Larcombe explained. "Does she come with Harry and look the people she's criticized in the eyes? Which is going to be tough. Or does she allow Harry to come with the children and stay away? If it's the latter, she would miss the children and it would be interpreted as an enormous snub by Meghan herself and the rift then becomes more about her than Harry. She faces potentially difficult choices if we're getting to a state where Harry's prepared to bury the hatchet."

Prince Harry complained about his royal upbringing in his memoir, Spare, and released an explosive tell-all series for Netflix, revealing the behind-the-scenes details of the monarchy. While Harry continues to build a public profile in the U.S., there could be concerns about whether or not the veteran can protect his father's privacy going forward.

"The hurdle Harry is facing is huge, to somehow persuade his father that what he did is in the past," royal expert Tom Bower told the Mirror. "I think he will be too stubborn to apologize, because that's not what he believes; he thinks he has behaved correctly. He simply doesn't realize the consequences of what he has done."

Tom Bower noted that Prince Harry will have to rebuild his relationship with King Charles III, as the duke previously shared his father wasn't speaking to him due to his legal battle over security. "The question Charles will be asking is, 'Can I trust my son?' and, from Harry's side, he will be focused on persuading his father he can be trusted, because he has to find a way back into Britain," he noted.

There has been no confirmation of Prince Harry and King Charles III scheduling a meeting, but the Daily Express reported Meredith Maines, who is a member of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's team, and Liam Maguire — who runs Harry and Meghan's British public relations team — were spotted with with Charles' communication secretary.

"If they meet, it is a beginning, but there is a long way to go towards repairing relations to anything close to normal," Tom Bower noted.

While Prince Harry has expressed an interest in reconciling with King Charles III and Prince William, Meghan Markle's struggle to feel embraced by her famous in-laws could impact how the duke navigates his time in the U.K.

"Charles and Harry will hope they can speak, but the elephant in the room is what has happened since he and Meghan stepped down," Tom Bower continued. "It will need a few meetings to get the atmosphere down."

Prince Harry continues to visit the U.K. for his patronages and various lawsuits, but Meghan Markle hasn't traveled to the region since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.

"I am convinced Harry's priority is his wife and children, and he will have made that clear," Tom Bower noted. "But he's faced with a dreadful dilemma, in that his wife doesn't want to come back to Britain, but he is desperate to rebuild roots in Britain."

During the seventh installment of the Bravo series, the reality star endured a brutal fallout with her former best friend Julia Lemigova that propelled her to invest in her well-being amid deep sadness. Abraira spoke with Wonderwall.com about why filming the recent season changed everything, her feud with her co-star, the reunion, her upcoming memoir and more.

Adapting a different way of thinking
Following an emotional season filled with tension throughout the cast, Guerdy Abraira is getting back to a centered place. "I am doing everything for me right now and what makes me feel good," she says of the healing process. "I'm adapting a different way of thinking about things right now. Maybe I'm a little jaded. Yes. But I'm protecting my peace."
Dealing with an 'overwhelming' Season 7
Guerdy Abraira doesn't fully accept Julia Lemigova's apology for throwing water on her at Marysol Patton's wedding celebration. "When someone is saying sorry only for an action that everyone knows is wrong and not for the lie itself that created all of this, that's concerning to me because it's been way too long of a situation that's gone on way too long," she saya. "It's surreal," she adds of the drama throughout the season. "It's really honestly overwhelming at times. But you just try to keep your focus. Watching it back and seeing all the stuff that you didn't know was said behind your back type of thing. It's layered."
The upcoming reunion
With the date of the reunion drawing near, Guerdy Abraira knows what she wants out of the sit-down with her cast members. "I am ready to do a lot of listening, which I hope will then create the reaction I get back. I don't need to explain myself or overly explain myself anymore. … The truth is out there," she says.
Writing her first book
In November, Guerdy Abraira will release her first book, From Trauma to Trophies. "This book was written one therapy session at a time," she says. "Every time I got off a therapy session, I was writing a new chapter. It was really interesting doing it in sequence with my life with my therapist because writing this book was interconnected with my healing process. So, it was really a journey and the takeaway for me is that I am not the old girlie I used to be at all. I have set up these boundaries that are not for play."

Property expert Raj Chohan told GB News that because Prince Andrew is no longer a working royal, he no longer has the rights to Royal Lodge. "Royal Lodge is part of the Crown Estate. Since the [Jeffrey Epstein] scandal, Prince Andrew has been stripped away from royal duties, which would mean, as the Crown is funded through taxes and he is not now fulfilling formal duties, this would now not form part of his estate," she explained, adding that she "would assume [Andrew] is like a sitting tenant, paying £250 a week and maintaining the upkeep of the property that's worth over £30million."

"Prince Andrew has expressed wishes to hand the property down to his daughters. As we don't know the legal contracts, we would assume that they would take the property," Raj Chohan said, adding that because Royal Lodge "is still part of the Crown Estate," the board of directors would ultimately "decide the long-term plans" for the property. Chohan also clarified that "in a form of inheritance for the country, siblings get equal shares in all assets."

Raj Chohan noted that the situation is complicated by the fact that like Prince Andrew, his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, are not working royals. (They're both young mothers with established careers outside the firm.) "This is made further complicated as both daughters have refused to take on royal duties, perhaps due to being young mothers," Chohan said.

In the 2017 documentary Diana, Our Mother, Prince William reflected on losing Princess Diana at a young age. "It'll either make or break you. And I wouldn't let it break me, I wanted it to make me," he said. "I wanted her to be proud of the person I'd become. According to royal commentator Samara Gill, if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are behind a docuseries or movie about Princess Diana, they run the risk of making the project all about themselves. "Diana's story is a very sensitive and coveted story to tell and I think Harry and Meghan will absolutely butcher it with their own lens," she said. "I really think that it could be a potential disaster because they will tell their side."

While nothing has been confirmed, many have speculated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will capitalize on Princess Diana's life and untimely death to sweeten their continued deal with Netflix. "I think Netflix will bite his arm off for this one," journalist Phil Dampier said. "It would be very interesting to get his take on his mother. I can see him doing this. I think, A, it would be a massive money spinner, and, B, Harry will probably treat it as some sort of therapy."

Despite the potential project being a way for Prince Harry to honor Princess Diana, the idea may not sit well with his estranged brother, Prince William, or their father, King Charles III. "It won't go down very well with the king or with Prince William," Phil Dampier pointed out. "I think they'll be absolutely horrified and [the] Prince of Wales will particularly think that his mother's being exploited when he wants to sort of leave that all behind him."

While discussing Prince Harry's upcoming Netflix documentary, Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within, which centers around a dance troupe at an orphanage in Uganda, journalist Hugo Vickers emphasized the importance of the 40-year-old investing in his own endeavors apart from Meghan Markle. "It's always good when Prince Harry does something for charity, because then he's doing something for somebody else rather than for himself," the writer said. "And that, of course, is what he was trained to do and that is where his skills lie. As for Meghan Markle, her skills are completely different. She is much more of a red carpet person. There is obviously a divergence of the ways. He pops back every now and again and sort of almost resumes his old life for a few days and then he goes back to being an appendage in the garden."

Hugo Vickers went on to speculate that Prince Harry is struggling without the philanthropic work that previously gave him purpose during his time as a working royal. "He certainly doesn't look happy. So, if by doing these sort of things more often it gives him a bit of a purpose and it helps other people, then I'm all for it," Vickers said. "But in the end of the day he's in a bit of a muddle, because he has opted out and he is not part of the working royal family and he's very unlikely ever to be."

Hugo Vickers went on to say that he thinks it's a bad idea for Prince Harry to return to the royal fold, even if he makes amends with his father, King Charles III. "He is so angry, he's so full of bitterness and at the end of the day, that's going to be counterproductive," Vickers said.

Meghan Markle recently took to Instagram to share multiple snaps of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet taken during production on the second season of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. Royal biographer Hugo Vickers doesn't think Prince Harry is thrilled with the move, which was widely seen as a desperate plea for attention. "He ought to be extremely annoyed. Obviously, I don't know what he thinks, but I think he does what he's told probably," the journalist said. "You know, what worries me much more, to be quite honest, is what the children themselves are going to think when they get a little bit older and they realize how they've been exploited."

While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been outspoken about their need for privacy, Hugo Vickers thinks the couple should look to how other leaders in England have handled their families as public figures. "I do think it's wrong. It's wrong for anyone to exploit children," the royalist said. "The situation comes with politicians … most of our prime ministers, the only time you see the children are when they're leaving Downing Street [where they live], when they sort of take them by the hand and lead them out. … Otherwise, they're kept in the background."

Hugo Vickers also criticized Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for their rifts with their extended families and how the strained relationships could impact their offspring. "They will also realize at a certain point that they've never met their grandfathers [King Charles III and Thomas Markle] and that they have cousins in England who have rather an interesting life. Something which they've been kept away from," he said.

Despite Meghan Markle doing her best to promote the second season of her lifestyle series, it failed to crack Netflix's top 10 in the United States and England. "I mean, all the things that she does seem to me not to be the success that she would have wished for them," Hugo Vickers said. "And therefore, she keeps, you know, coming up with new ideas, reinventing herself, reinventing things. I mean, I've never seen somebody who's changed direction quite so many times as Meghan Markle."

While With Love, Meghan is set to release a holiday special, it seems unlikely that Meghan Markle will secure a third season of the show. "Following reports that With Love, Meghan is under review by Netflix, the odds suggest we may have already seen the final season. At 1-2 to be canceled after Season 2, its future looks uncertain, and attention is now shifting to what Meghan does next," Pundit Arena spokesperson Joe Lyons said, according to the Daily Express.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet to score a hit in Hollywood since their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan debuted in 2022. "A memoir leads the market at 8-11, which would see Markle follow in the steps of her husband, Harry, who released his own book in 2023," Joe Lyons said, adding that "entering the world of fashion is another plausible avenue for Meghan, priced at 3-1."

While chatting with Emily Chang, Meghan Markle shared how her self-confidence has evolved over the years. "I think the more comfortable you get with yourself, certainly age helps. I'll be 44. It's great!" she said.

"And I just think there is a lot of value to when you anchor into your own knowing, then you're telling your own story," the Suits actress continued. "You're telling your story and how you show up in the world, what you do. You actually don't need to say anything, you can show who you are."

Kate Middleton's new hair color has everyone talking.

The Princess of Wales turned heads with her blonde locks while stepping out with Prince William to visit London's Natural History Museum after returning from their summer vacation at Balmoral. Despite the daring new 'do, the public had much to say about the change.

Kate Middleton's long sun-kissed hair made headlines while she and Prince William resumed their royal duties.

"Her hair was a beautiful chestnut brown. Why change to this dulling color? Does nothing for her, given her complexion," one X user complained.

"I hope this is a wig because Kate Middleton's new look is just plain awful," a second person added.

A third person gave the 43-year-old the benefit of the doubt, writing, "Easier to hide the gray with less maintenance, right, ladies?"

When Kate Middleton first entered royal life after Prince William proposed in 2010, the former Duchess of Cambridge rocked her signature glossy dark brown hair.

As Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed Prince George in 2013, Kate Middleton stunned with a longer and more red-toned hairstyle.

By 2015, Kate Middleton cut her dark hair to shoulder length, which showed her deep middle part.

In 2023, Kate Middleton shook things up again with '70s-style feathered bangs, another look social media went wild over.

"I love that she brought back the fringe bangs! She hasn't had them in forever, and I (a lover of bangs) think that they can be very framing for the face," an X user penned.

"I had a hair appointment yesterday and the stylist asked if I wanted some curtain bangs just like this," another chimed in.

By 2024, Kate Middleton went lighter again and got rid of the bangs, debuting a side-swept part instead.

Valentine Low claims in his new book, Power and the Palace: The Inside Story of the Monarchy and 10 Downing Street, that Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III were skeptical about the progressive change brought forward by former Prime Minister David Cameron. "Crucially, the palace was not against it. But they said that the government had to ensure the backing of the other 15 realms," he wrote. A source reportedly told him, "I always thought that the signals from Buckingham Palace were that if it was the wish of the duly elected prime minister of the day and the realms can be sorted out, we will not stand in its way. I didn't get the sense there was any great enthusiasm from the palace and the queen herself."

Elsewhere in the tell-all, Valentine Low claimed that King Charles III was concerned before Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed Prince George that their first-born child would be a girl and that the family name would die off as a result. What would become of the House of Windsor, he worried, if a potential granddaughter ascended the throne, then tied the knot and adopted her husband's last name?

While Prince George is years away from taking over as king of England, Prince William and Kate Middleton have already started preparing him for his leadership role. "It's all part of a slow, incremental move towards his destiny. They've always been very clear about pacing it, not making the children do anything that puts them off the idea of being royal in the future. It's a case of including him in things that he'll enjoy, but that also touch on his life to come," biographer Robert Hardman said.
