On Thursday, June 12, Donald Trump took to Truth Social to express concern over farmers and hotel workers who are outraged due to losing their employees who have been deported after he's tried to force thousands of undocumented people out of America."The central lie of Donald Trump's deportation campaign promise came apart today," Lawrence O'Donnell said during the MSNBC broadcast referencing the social media update. "Donald Trump promised to deport every one of those people working on farms. Every one of them. He promised to deport all of them and then he decided not to deport them today. He's not going to deport 15 million people. He's not going to deport a million people. It's over. The mass deportation lie that he never could have done anyway is over. Donald Trump formally, publicly gave up today."
The journalist then pointed out how ironic the Republican leader advocating for this particular issue is after Trump seemingly caused it.
"He was doing it to the farmers!" O'Donnell explained. "What everyone has been saying for years and years and years in defense of those people who Donald Trump was calling murderers and r******, everything we've been saying, I guess, has finally sunk in with Donald Trump, the slowest and stupidest president in history. Maybe they don't have what they're supposed to have in legal documentation to be here. Donald Trump doesn't care about any of that anymore. The stupidest man in the room finally realizes the Democrats are completely right about this and always have been."

After making bold claims against illegal immigrants and doing everything in his power to get them out of the country, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account to highlight the issues that have come up from his mass deportations."Our great farmers and people in the hotel and leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace," the businessman wrote in part. "That is not good…Changes are coming!"

The update from Donald Trump comes as people continue to protest the right-winger, his administration and their policies during "No Kings" gatherings across the country. It also comes on the heels of Trump deploying the National Guard to Los Angeles, Calif., amid tension-filled ICE raids.
In turn, California Governor Gavin Newsom filed a lawsuit against Trump and his administration for sending in the troops. San Francisco U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer allowed the Democrat to retake control of the National Guard members sent to the city on Friday, June 6. However, on Thursday, June 12, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit issued the administrative stay in the U.S. leader's favor after he issued an emergency appeal.

Governor Gavin Newsom slammed Donald Trump for creating chaos in California and causing violence with citizens."This brazen abuse of power by a sitting president inflamed a combustible situation, putting our people, our officers and even our National Guard at risk," the liberal politician said during a meeting with the press on Tuesday, June 10. "That's when the downward spiral began. He doubled down on his dangerous National Guard deployment by fanning the flames even harder. And the president, he did it on purpose."
