Dr. Kevin O'Connor was asked two specific questions about Joe Biden and his health during his federal interview: "Were you ever told to lie about the president's health?" and "Did you ever believe President Biden was unfit to execute his duties?" According to an Oversight spokesperson, O'Connor only answered one question during the deposition: He confirmed his name.

House Oversight Committee Chairman and Republican Representative
James Comer condemned Kevin O'Connor for being evasive on Joe Biden's health. "Dr. O'Connor pleaded the Fifth Amendment," the politician from Kentucky said. "This is unprecedented and I think that this adds more fuel to the fire that there was a cover-up. Congress must assess legislative solutions to prevent such a cover-up from happening again. We will continue to interview more Biden White House aides to get the answers Americans deserve." The committee shared a clip from the interview
on X alongside the caption, "What are they hiding?"

Texas Representative Ronny Jackson, a doctor who also served in Barack Obama's White House Medical Unit, claimed Dr. Kevin O'Connor may be helping to hide how bad Joe Biden's mental decline actually was while he was the leader of the American people. "Dr. O'Connor pleading the Fifth all but confirms he was a key player in the biggest coverup in presidential history and knew Joe Biden wasn't fit to serve and now he's grasping for anything to protect himself," the right-winger said. "Experts agree that the Oversight Committee's questions wouldn't have violated doctor-patient confidentiality, which means O'Connor isn't shielding Biden's privacy — he's most likely shielding his own criminal behavior."

Dr.
Jeffrey Kuhlman, who was the physician to the president during Barack Obama's first term in office, claimed doctor-patient privilege would have allowed the witness (Dr. Kevin O'Connor) to answer a few of the questions asked in the deposition about Joe Biden. "In my opinion, [the first question] doesn't involve HIPAA," the medical expert said in an
interview. As for the second question, Kuhlman said, "I don't think that's covered by HIPAA. It doesn't sound like that's specific health information that they're seeking."

Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett slammed the interrogation of Dr. Kevin O'Connor about Joe Biden's health. "I think that he did what any good lawyer would advise him to do, and it seems like he had two good lawyers in the room today," the liberal politician said. "There is nothing about Joe Biden and his stutter or him being older that caused any issues as it relates to potentially harming the American people. … The reality is that the country wasn't off the rails when Joe Biden was sitting in the White House."
