New details on Beyonce and JAY-Z's twins' health issue
As of Tuesday, June 20, Beyonce and JAY-Z's twins were still in the hospital being treated for a "minor issue," according to TMZ. Now, sources say the twins were born premature and are "under the lights," which likely refers to the phototherapy that's often used on premature babies born with jaundice. The lights help reduce elevated bilirubin levels. The twins reportedly arrived about a week ago, although neither Bey nor Jay has made a formal announcement yet.

Miles Teller blames bar for over serving him, denies he was arrested
Reports Miles Teller was arrested for public intoxication in San Diego over the weekend were exaggerated. At least, that's how Miles characterized the news in multiple tweets on Monday, June 19. "Went down to SD to see my buddy before he deployed. I wasn't arrested I was detained bc there was no evidence to charge me with a crime," he wrote, despite CNN and TMZ's confirmation that he was charged, booked and had his mug shot taken after police spotted him outside the bar. "Don't believe everything you read, especially from a third party entertainment news source trying to get clicks," he wrote in another tweet, seemingly implicating TMZ, which first reported the incident. Finally, Miles suggested bartenders at PB Shore Club, where he was drinking before reportedly being stopped by police, should have cut him off. "I blame Shore Club," he tweeted.

Madonna is rumored to have a new model boyfriend
Is this Madonna's new man? Since splitting from 26-year-old model Aboubakar "Brooklin" Soumahoro, who had reportedly been living with Madge in New York's Upper East Side neighborhood for more than a year, the singer has reportedly been seeing 31-year-old model Kevin Sampaio. According to the New York Post, Madonna and Kevin spent time together in Lisbon, Portugal, earlier this year. Madonna's rep has denied the romance rumors, but Kevin's Instagram suggests he was in Lisbon in late May and early June. The Daily Mail, meanwhile, recently reported Madge bought a new home outside Lisbon and plans to relocate there so her son, David, can play soccer with the Benfica team's junior squad. "Madonna did not want to go public with Kevin until now because she was just trying to get to know him better and she wanted to make sure that she could trust him," a source told Radar. "She was impressed by the fact that … he did not go running to the press and that he kept their romance private." A spokesperson for Madonna told the Post the romance rumor is "not true," without giving any further details.

Mahershala Ali reflects on racism and patriotism in America
"Moonlight" star Mahershala Ali is confident that eventually, we'll see a shift away from racism and xenophobia in America. As he explains in the July issue of GQ, however, we're not quite there yet. Recounting instances of racial profiling that affected him from the age of 10 on, the Oscar winner points out how strange it feels to suddenly be celebrated after being "feared" for most of his life because of his race and Muslim religious beliefs. "When suddenly you go from being followed in Barneys to being fawned over, it will mess with your head," he admits. "I absolutely love this country, but like so many people have some real questions and concerns about how things have gone down over the years and where we're at. And that's from a place of love, because I want the country to be what it says it is on paper," Mahershala says, reflecting on the complicated relationship between African-Americans and patriotism. "I sincerely believe we have the capacity to actually make this country great. There are enough people, there are enough believers out there, there are enough intelligent, empathetic souls out there that want good for the whole. I don't know if it'll happen in my lifetime, but I believe in time the pendulum will swing in the right direction."

Halle Berry rebrands her fansite as a lifestyle site
Halle Berry is set to relaunch Hallewood, her former fansite, as a lifestyle forum where she can connect with fans while offering her take on topics like beauty, fashion, home and parenting. She announced the news this week at Cannes Lion, where she explained her frustration with the way her image gets altered through both social media and traditional media. In part, she said, that's what inspired her interest in controlling her own narrative with the new website, according to ET Canada. The goal, she said, is "to have a real conversation for [fans] to get to know me in a different way than the media was presenting me." She recalled situations where a fan would ask for a photo at a restaurant and she'd oblige — then find stories online about how she's "dating 100 people." Halle also hopes her new site can foster connections between people. "Based on where we are now with this great divide in our country, and it's my obligation as an artist, to start providing that forum for people to talk things out and bring us a little bit closer," she said.
The Catholic League slams Aubrey Plaza's 'The Little Hours'
In the raunchy new comedy "The Little Hours," Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie and Kate Micucci play some seriously un-nun-like nuns — and it seems the Catholic League isn't having it. Speaking to Conan O'Brien this week, Aubrey suggested the organization was getting a little bit ahead of itself when it called the movie "pure trash." "They haven't even seen it yet so maybe they should wait and see it before they get angry," she said, according to JustJared. "We just thought let's be honest, we don't have any secrets here. I just want everyone to like it. If they like it they like it, you know, get over it if they don't. It's not an indictment on Christianity or the church, it's a historical depiction of nuns from the middle ages and its accurate what happens in the film. I'm being serious." The film, an adaptation of Giovanni Boccaccio's 14th Century novella collection "The Decameron," hits theaters Friday, June 30.
Gwyneth Paltrow: 'When you're at the forefront of something that's new, people can get really reactive'
Now that her cheekily named, $90-a-month GOOP vitamin line is available, Gwyneth Paltrow has a new focus: ridding the body of unwanted guests. "I'm really interested in the impact of heavy metals and parasites on our bodies," she says in the new issue of Women's Health Australia (via Us Weekly). "I think they're two of the biggest culprits in terms of why we feel bad. I'm knee-deep in figuring out ways to clear them from the body, looking at all sorts of potentially weird modalities." Gwyneth, whose pricey cleanses and affection for new agey breakup terminology have attracted as many critics as fans, is apparently losing no sleep over the fact that those "weird modalities" could make her a target for more criticism. "When you're at the forefront of something that's new, people can get really reactive: 'This is crazy! Why are you doing this?'" she says. "Then, five years later, everyone's fine with it."
