Three days after turning 50, fashion designer and pop icon Victoria Beckham celebrated in style with a slew of A-list friends and her beloved family at a birthday bash held at the private members club Oswald's in London on April 20.
All of her fellow Spice Girls attended and at one point inside the bash, they joined Victoria to sing their hit song "Stop" — and even did some of the choreography — as seen in a video David Beckham shared on Instagram. Victoria reposted the clip, captioning it, "Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife."
So how does the British star feel about marking a new milestone?
"I'm excited about the future. The thing with aging is that it is what it is," Victoria told The Sunday Times in a story published the day after her party. "I always remember [fashion designer] Marc Jacobs saying to me when he turned 60 that it was better than the alternative of not turning 60. It's good advice! But generally, I feel good about things. I have better opportunities now than I did when I was younger."
Victoria further shared that she's in a great place at 50.
"I looked at some pictures of myself recently and was really struck by how happy I looked," she told the newspaper, adding, "In the past I've always looked at those red carpet pictures of me and seen a woman who looks nervous and insecure. Everyone else saw a woman who looked grumpy and stern — I suppose that's how I got the reputation of being such a miserable cow."
