Prince Harry stepped down from Sentebale, the charity he co-founded, after chair
Dr. Sophie Chandauka claimed she was subjected to "abuse of power, bullying, harassment, misogyny and misogynoir" during her time working with the Duke of Sussex. The allegations prompted the Charity Commission for England and Wales to launch an investigation, which determined there was no evidence of widespread misconduct. But the new Sentebale isn't happy with the way the probe's findings have been categorized…

While the investigation found no evidence of widespread misconduct, Sentebale reportedly wants the Charity Commission to confirm whether or not they looked into specific claims of bullying and racism aimed at
Prince Harry. Sources close to the Duke of Sussex told
Sky News that the non-profit is "rehashing unsubstantiated allegations of bullying, misogyny and more." One insider branded the response "just provocative" and "pitiful."

"We have written to the Charity Commission stating that the onus is on the commission to restate for the record that individual allegations of bullying have not been investigated or addressed in the commission's report," a Sentebale source told Sky News, referencing specific accusations against
Prince Harry.

A source close to
Prince Harry defended him against Dr. Sophie Chandauka's allegations, telling Sky News, "It's remarkable, just yesterday Ms. Chandauka was applauding the Charity Commission's findings, yet today, after a flurry of unflattering headlines, she's back on the warpath. … Issuing yet another media statement only reinforces the commission's criticism about using the press to air internal disputes." The Charity Commission previously called out both Harry and Chandauka for allowing their grievances with one another "to play out publicly."

"Rehashing unsubstantiated allegations of bullying, misogyny and more, which the commission found no evidence of, and dressing them up as veiled threats isn't just provocative, it's pitiful," the
Prince Harry-friendly source said. The insider suggested that Sophie Chandauka "spell out" her issues with the Duke of Sussex, or "better yet, redirect her energy toward something truly worthwhile, like raising money for the children Sentebale exists to support."

The Charity Commission has since addressed the ongoing dispute. "We have issued the charity with an action plan which sets out steps the current trustees need to take to improve governance weaknesses and rectify findings of mismanagement," they told the
New York Post. "We now urge all involved to put their differences behind them and allow the charity to focus on its work and beneficiaries."

The probe, which determined there was no "overreach" by
Prince Harry or Sophie Chandauka, criticized the duo for allowing their issues with one another "to play out publicly." The Commission also said the pair's "failure to resolve disputes internally severely impacted the charity's reputation and risked undermining public trust in charities more generally."

While
Prince Harry often avoids addressing rumors, his rep did acknowledge that the Duke of Sussex is devastated about leaving his role at Sentebale. "The Duke is, of course, deeply upset by this entire ordeal; though he remains absolutely committed to continuing the work he began 19 years ago — that being to support the children of Lesotho and Botswana living with HIV/AIDS and struggling with mental health issues," his rep said, according to the
New York Post.
