Talk about a fractured family.
Pax Jolie-Pitt slammed his father, Brad Pitt, in a resurfaced social media post, and the teenager didn't hold back. Pax, now 19, accused the Oscar winner of making life "hell" for him and his siblings.
The post, which was shared on Instagram Stories, went largely unnoticed in 2020 likely due to the fact that Pax's account is private. DailyMail.com, however, posted alleged screenshots of the vitriolic message.

"Happy Father's Day to this world-class a******!" Pax Jolie-Pitt began his 2020 message, which resurfaced in November 2023 on DailyMail.com.
"You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person. You have no consideration or empathy towards your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence.
"You will never understand the damage that you have done to my family because you're incapable of doing so. You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday.
"So, Happy Father's Day, you f****** awful human being," the message concluded.

While Pax Jolie-Pitt clearly had contempt for his famous father, he had nothing but glowing remarks for his mom, Angelina Jolie, calling her an "amazing person" in a post. Pax added, "love you forever and always" along with a heart emoji.

The three-year-old messages — posted when Pax Jolie-Pitt was 16 — are apparently real. A source told DailyMail.com that the private account where the message was posted belongs to Pax.
"It's the account he uses for friends — friends from school mostly. He never says much about his parents, keeps himself to himself, so that was unusual," the source said.

It's not known when the rift between Brad Pitt and several of his six children began, but things seemed to reach a boiling point in 2016 during a private plane flight.
Angelina Jolie accused her then-husband of being drunk on the plane and getting into a physical and verbal and physical altercation with her and some of their children. Los Angeles's Department of Children and Family Services launched an investigation that found no wrongdoing on Brad's part; an FBI investigation also cleared the actor.
Days after the alleged plane incident, Angelina filed for divorce and launched a custody battle. In 2017, Brad revealed he'd quit drinking and started therapy in the wake of their split and legal fight.
In a 2022 interview with British GQ, he said, "I always felt very alone in my life, alone growing up as a kid, alone even out here, and it's really not till recently that I have had a greater embrace of my friends and family."
