In the clip of Donald Trump practicing his golf game at his Turnberry course, the Republican leader's caddy appears to drop a ball in front of Trump behind his back after the politician hit his last shot into the brush. The rule-breaking trick is called a Mulligan, where a player gets a do-over after a bad hit.

While commenting on the footage, CBS Mornings hosts Vladimir Duthiers, Adriana Diaz and Nate Burleson touched upon the interesting scenario.Duthiers pointed out how Donald Trump's caddy "may have been a little too helpful" on the course.
"As a golfer, you're supposed to do your own drop if you can't find your ball," Burleson added. "Not your caddy just doing a no-look pass."
"When it's behind the back, that looks a little suspicious," Diaz chimed in.
"People online have been having a field day with this and not because other presidents don't take Mulligans all the time when they play golf," Duthiers said. "Trump is always talking about how good his golf game is. Come on, bro! You can't be doing that."

The news anchors may have raked Donald Trump over the coals for the apparent shortcut. However, some people online claimed the move was "provisional" and the commander-in-chief may have hit the ball out of bounds, and the helper was simply putting the object back into the same place."So, he does not want to play out of the sand. I do it all the time," one X user penned.
"This was not a professional game for money. It was a recreational game. Also, stuff like this happens if the ball is lost," another added.

This is not the first time Donald Trump has been accused of cheating during a round of golf. In a 2012 interview, rocker Alice Cooper spoke about his experience playing the game with The Apprentice alum."The worst celebrity golf cheat? I wish I could tell you that. It would be a shocker. I played golf with Donald Trump one time. That's all I'm going to say," he alleged.
