Reports of Scott Disick and Sofia Richie's demise have apparently been greatly exaggerated. While multiple outlets claimed that Sofia pulled the plug on the romance amid rumors of cheating, TMZ reported on June 4 that that's far from the case. The website, quoting "sources close to the couple," said the two are "still very much together." TMZ said Sofia wasn't pleased when the photo surfaced showing Scott and another girl at Kanye West's album listening party in Wyoming, but she's moved on from that. In fact, Scott posted a photo of the TMZ story to his Instagram, captioning it, "We had no idea we even broke up but thanks for thinking of us." The couple was also seen smiling at lunch in Los Angeles on June 4. For what it's worth, TMZ said the Wyoming mystery girl and Scott are just friends and have known each other for years. When most were saying that Scott, 35, and Sofia, 19, were dunzo, a source told People mag that the duo would likely reconcile. "It's likely not totally over," the mag's source said. "They've broken up multiple times since they started dating and always ended up back together. No one would be surprised if they're out again together in a few days or weeks."

Farewell, old friend

Acclaimed chef Eric Ripert found the "Parts Unknown" star unresponsive in his hotel room in France, where they'd been filming the series, the morning of June 8. Hollywood was shocked by his death. "Anthony. One of my idols. Unapologetic, passionate and one of the best storytellers on the planet," cookbook author and model Chrissy Teigen tweeted. "Thank you for making food so exciting. And always standing up for everything right. Horrible. Why why why. Be at peace now." Mandy Moore called it "utterly heartbreaking." Rose McGowan who was particularly tight with Anthony and his girlfriend, Asia Argento, broke down in a video. "Anthony I am so mad at you," she tweeted alongside the tearful video. "You were so loved, the world is not better without you." Asia released a statement hours after the news broke. "Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did. His brilliant, fearless spirit touched and inspired so many, and his generosity knew no bounds," she wrote. "He was my love, my rock, my protector. I am beyond devastated…"

Jennifer Lawrence has snagged herself a new man. On June 5, Page Six TV reported that the "Hunger Games" star has been enjoying a very low-profile romance with Cooke Maroney, the director at New York City's Gladstone Gallery. The two were reportedly introduced by J.Law's BFF, Laura Simpson. "The relationship has been going on a few weeks. But they have been very private and careful not to be seen together," the source said. However, once the cat was out of the bag, Jen, 27, and Cooke, 33, decided to no longer hide their romance, and they were seen walking arm-in-arm around New York City (check out the pics here).
Janet Jackson called police after fearing for the well-being of her 1-year-old son, Eissa, TMZ reported, explaining that she was worried that her estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, was using drugs around their child. On June 4, People.com reported that police responded to the Nobu Ryokan hotel in Malibu but left once they discovered the child was okay. A source told People that that Wissam's behavior was "erratic." However, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's office told The Blast there "was zero suspicion of drugs being used" and that the office was puzzled as to "why Jackson made the allegation." The Blast later claimed that a nanny was upset and "stirred the pot" after Wissam refused to give her the hotel's Wi-Fi password.
Ben Foster and Laura Prepon have tied the knot. The actress shared the news on Instagram on June 3. "Just Married! Thank you for all the love and support," she captioned the sweet shot. "Wishing all of us the good stuff!" Little else is known about the wedding. Laura and Ben were first linked romantically back in 2016. Fashion designer Kate Spade was found dead in her apartment on June 5 of an apparent suicide. The 55-year-old designer (who was also the sister-in-law of comedian David Spade and aunt of actress Rachel Brosnahan) leaves behind a husband, from whom she was separated, and a daughter. News of her sudden death rocked Hollywood, as many of its biggest stars were fans of Kate's line and friends with her. "I am heartbroken about the news of Kate Spade. I have worn her clothes many, many times," Mindy Kaling tweeted. "They were colorful, bold, cheerful, and encouraged women to find the twinkly person inside them. You couldn't walk into her boutiques and not smile. Rest In Peace, Kate." Reese Witherspoon said, "My heart and prayers go out to Kate Spade and her family. What a wonderful, talented woman who will be dearly missed." Of course, perhaps the most heart-wrenching tribute came from David, her brother-in-law. Several hours after the death was reported, the comedian shared a unfocused picture of him and Kate. "Fuzzy picture but i love it. Kate and I during Christmas family photos," he said. "We had so much fun that day. She was so sharp and quick on her feet. She could make me laugh so hard. I still cant believe it. Its a rough world out there people, try to hang on." Kate's designs will forever live on. RIP.
Chalk it up as a win for Kim Kardashian West. For months now, Kim has been advocating for the release of Alice Marie Johnson, a 62-year-old great-grandmother who was incarcerated in October 1996 for a first-time nonviolent drug offense. Kim even met with President Trump at the White House on behalf of Alice. On June 6, Trump granted Alice clemency. Kim was actually the one who gave Alice the news. "The phone call I just had with Alice will forever be one of my best memories. Telling her for the first time and hearing her screams while crying together is a moment I will never forget," she said. In a statement, she added, "I'm so grateful to President Trump, Jared Kushner and to everyone who has showed compassion and contributed countless hours to this important moment for Ms. Alice Marie Johnson. Her commutation and forthcoming release is inspirational and gives hope to so many others who are also deserving of a second chance. I hope to continue this important work by working together with organizations who have been fighting this fight for much longer than I have and deserve the recognition." Many on both sides of the aisle would argue that it's a win for prison reform.
Welcome back, "Roseanne"… kind of. ABC is on the verge of moving forward with a "Roseanne" reboot without Roseanne Barr, and the announcement is expected to be "imminent," according to a report. It's widely expected that the show would be rebranded and focused on Sara Gilbert's character, Darlene. John Goodman is reportedly "very interested" in doing the show. Even though Roseanne won't be a part of the new show, ABC may be contractually bound to pay her a fee for creating the original series and participating in it. The incredibly popular "Roseanne" sitcom was canceled on May 29 after the show's namesake sent out a racially charged tweet about former Barack Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Brody Jenner married his girlfriend of five years, Kaitlynn Carter, last weekend. However, his father, Caitlyn Jenner, wasn't there. On June 6, Brody took some not-so-veiled jabs at his dad. "It was a big disappointment," he told People magazine. "Especially considering that she had known about the wedding for a year." He later said his relationship with Caitlyn isn't strained like it used to be, but he implied that he wasn't counting on her being there. "I wasn't surprised" by her absence, he said. "I'm pretty used to her doing that sort of thing." Ouch.
