Donald Trump told Republicans it would be a "disaster" for the party and the country if "one big, beautiful bill" pushing his economic plan doesn't get passed._
Donald Trump urged opposing Republicans to "close your eyes and there.""They have to get there," the real estate tycoon added. "And I think we are there. We had a great meeting today. I think we are there."
"But just in case there are a couple of Republicans not there — you just gotta get there, close your eyes and get there!" Trump demanded. "It is a phenomenal bill. Stop grandstanding."

Trump shrugged off the Republicans waiting for a "little bit more" in budget cuts, as the president argued that if they don't pass his proposal, "you end up getting nothing."_
House Speaker Mike Johnson, who was also in attendance, described it as "one of the most consequential pieces of legislation that Congress has passed in decades – and perhaps in the history of Congress.""It's an embarrassment of riches," Johnson joked. "I tell you, this job is so easy."

Republicans and Democrats have been fearful of the impact Donald Trump's tariff plan will have, but the president assured his peers that the country will benefit from it."I have to say, it's going to be legendary," he said of the reciprocal tariffs that began at midnight in almost 90 countries.
"But I really think it actually puts pressure on those few Republicans that just can't get there," he added.

Despite the lack of security in his vision, Donald Trump declared that the country will be "making a fortune with tariffs – $2 billion a day.""Only the enemy can be talking this way," Trump said of his critics.
"Many countries have ripped us off left and right. But now it's our turn to do the ripping," he continued.

Aside from using tariffs, Donald Trump predicted the Republican Party would remain popular during midterms."We're going to win the midterm elections in a tremendous, thunderous landslide," Trump stated.
"We got to win. There is no way [the Democrats] should be winning based on policy," he continued. "Democrats have gone crazy."
